Communication is very important to me — I send updates, follow your instructions closely, and stay attentive to safety at all times. I’m gentle, observant, and especially comfortable with shy or sensitive pets who do best with a calm, reassuring presence. I live on the first floor of my apartment complex and have a large turf patio for fresh air and easy outdoor access. My complex also has three dog parks nearby for walks and playtime. I do have two cats, and they have their own large catio where they can be safely separated if needed, so every pet can remain comfortable and stress-free.

Before caring for your pets, I like to know their routines, favorite activities, any special needs or medications, and how they do with new people or other animals. This helps me make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away.
A typical day
For dogs, I love keeping them active and happy with walks, fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, and plenty of cuddle time. For cats, I bring out their playful side with interactive toys, give them window-watching breaks, and provide calm, quiet companionship so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I also have two cats of my own, so I’m very familiar with their routines, personalities, and the importance of keeping their environment calm and predictable.

Pet care experience
I have experience caring for pets of all ages — from energetic puppies to wise seniors. I raised my own dog from 8 weeks old through her senior years, and she lived to be 15½. She was a medium-to-large breed, which made those years especially meaningful since larger dogs often have shorter lifespans. She was part of my life from college through adulthood and taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and attentive care. I also grew up on a farm where animals were always part of daily life. From cats and dogs to rabbits, chickens, and horses, being around animals has always come naturally to me and helped shape my love and respect for them. Since my girl recently passed and I work remotely, caring for pets through Rover has become a meaningful way for me to continue sharing that love while helping other families when they need dependable care for their fur babies.

I've left my pup with other people and she's seemed nervous and manic when I go back, after leaving her with Celeste she was calm and content. I think that's an indicator of attentive and kind care! Thank you soooo much!
