I will always defer to the owners' knowledge of their own pets and routines and will adhere to them as instructed. Comfort and safety first! PLEASE NOTE: I do not accept intact (un-neutered/un-spayed) dogs over the age of 1.5 years. I understand that some owners choose to delay fixing their dogs until they've fully physically matured, and I am willing to accommodate younger dogs on a case-by-case basis based on individual dogs' temperaments and behaviors/training. However, caring for intact dogs can become stressful and create safety hazards. Females in heat become targets for any male dogs within sniffing distance, and caring for intact males often involves a lot of additional cleaning due to marking, carries a risk of aggression toward me or other dogs, and carries a risk of the male dog escaping to pursue females in heat. Similarly, I do not accept intact adult cats. Though they are seldom a danger, females in heat are major flight risks, and sexually mature males create smelly urine messes when they spray. With peace and love, please understand that if I do not accept a booking request for an intact adult animal, it is not personal.

Please let me know if your pet is prone to bolting out the door, if they are protective of their food/toys, and if they have any special physical considerations (recent surgeries, arthritis in one leg, etc). Also, please let me know if your pet is sensitive about being touched in a particular area so that I can respect their preferences! I want everyone comfortable and feeling safe and well cared for.

I match energy, so if your pup wants to play fetch, we'll play fetch. If they want belly rubs and/or cuddles for most of the visit, that's what they'll get! They want to chase me around the yard? Absolutely. As for walks, let me know where you like to take your pup and I'll do the same! They'll get plenty of time to do their business and sniff everything, and just generally scratch that itch to move and groove. It's the same energy with cats, I'll meet them where they are and go with their flow. If they want to play, get scritches, and be held, I'm giving them what they want. If they see me as a food delivery vessel and nothing more, that's fine too! No matter what, they'll be cared for in the way that works best for them and for you.

Cecily took great care of my whole crew! I have one dog who has some basic medical needs, and another who has anxiety issues. I felt confident and able to relax with Cecily here taking care of them.

She is very dependable and I feel I can trust her. She is always on time with her visits and give me updates. I am able to enjoy myself when I'm out of town knowing that she's watching my dogs.
