I'm taking 12 credits at Iowa State, so I am busy but my schedule is flexible. I am pretty available to stop in between classes and in the mornings/evenings. Weekends are often free, but sometimes I go visit my family nearby.

I have an apartment so I can't take pets to my place. I am available for check-ins and walks obviously. Throughout high school and these past two years, I've been trusted to care for pets in neighbors and strangers homes, and at a dog boarding and daycare facility in Des Moines.

Let me know if they are high energy, like to jump, are a bit mouthy or have any special quirks (I just like to be prepared). Also, if they have medicines or special needs.
A typical day
I am a reasonably energetic person and dogs always give me more energy, so they will not go lacking for exercise! We might go find a new park to walk around, or head into town (if they are comfortable with it). Usually, I like just playing with them where they feel most comfortable: at home.

Pet care experience
Animals hold a special place in my soul that I can't describe. Each pet brings me joy to take care of. I've had a few pets over the years; right now a 7 year old Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu named Snoopy. I've also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for the past two years. I started college as an Art Education major, but quickly changed to Animal Science. My goal is to work as an animal caretaker at the Omaha Zoo.
