I’ve loved animals since I was a child. I grew up on a farm for a while, so animals have been a good part of my life. I believe that animals are family, so they need to be treated like members that we love and care for. I have a wonderful connection with dogs, and I have experience training them. My professional background in psychology comes in handy for training! If you are in the process of training your dog you can count on me to respect your training process - I will be consistent with your little fur baby. I will ensure that they get lots of pets, plenty of movement, treats if allowed, and all the belly rubs that they demand! I have no breed restrictions, and I will work with your dog no matter their behavior. There is no bad dog. Dogs with behavioral problems may just need a little more time and patience, and that is OK! I love to give dogs cuddles, kisses, and ear scratches. I have a gentle approach to dogs, and I let them come to me when they are ready. My priority is to help your dog feel loved, safe, happy, and confident. My focus is on the experience for your dog, and not the number of bookings I can get. When doing drop-ins, I will make sure to interact with your dog and help them feel comfortable with me. If they become reactive, I will simply wait it out until they calm down and realize that I'm there for a fun time. We will play with toys, sit on the floor together, play outside where it is safe to do so, or go for a walk. If you need me to feed your pet, fill their water bowl, or give them medication just let me know and I will make sure to follow through. On walks, I make sure that they are exercised well, smell their surroundings (great for mental stimulation), and get all the excess energy out.
