Hi there! My name is Cecilia, and caring for animals—especially dogs—is one of the greatest joys in my life. I have two beloved dogs back in my hometown: a sweet 15-and-a-half-year-old poodle–bichon mix and a 6-year-old goldendoodle with disabilities. They mean the world to me, and being away from them has only deepened my passion for caring for other people’s furry family members. Last summer, I had the privilege of working at a luxury dog boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and unique needs—including those requiring extra patience and special attention. I was trained to read canine body language and behavior, and I learned how to adapt my approach to help each dog—whether a bouncy puppy or a wise senior—feel safe, calm, and emotionally and physically fulfilled. Animals hold a truly special place in my heart. I’m the type of person who pulls over to help a turtle cross the road, stops to meet a cute dog on the sidewalk, or sits with a stray cat to make sure it’s fed. Every animal encounter matters to me. I believe animals are so much more than companions—they’re a vital part of our lives. Their unique personalities and deep bonds bring joy, purpose, and connection, and I feel genuinely honored every time I get to spend time with them. Whether your pup needs a gentle, attentive sitter, an energetic walking buddy, or just someone to love on them like their own family would—I’m here, and I can’t wait to meet them!

I’m more than happy to tailor my care to meet your dog’s individual needs—whatever that may look like. Whether your pup requires leashed outings only or enjoys the freedom of a fenced-in yard, I’ll follow your preferences closely to ensure their comfort and safety. I want your dog to feel like they’re with family while in my care, and I’m fully committed to respecting both their routines and your home. You can also count on regular updates and plenty of photos, so you feel connected and reassured every step of the way.

I absolutely loved my booking with Cecilia. As someone who’s afraid to leave their fury behind with anyone in general… Cecilia made me feel comfortable, she checked with me and sent me cute photos to show my babies were all good being taken care of! She was super diligent and efficient with her time at my place. She cared for my kitties and I definitely would rebook again with Cecilia!
Cecilia was absolutely great! She communicated well and asked about the dogs habits and needs before she went to visit so she knew about any special needs. She also sent a ton of pictures which was very much appreciated. I live that she spent so much time with our pets and made sure they weren't lonely or bored.
I cannot speak highly enough of Cecilia’s incredible care of my 17-year-old Yorkie, Cooper, while I was away in the Bahamas in 2025. Leaving an elderly dog behind is never easy, but Cecilia gave me complete peace of mind every single day. From the start, she went above and beyond—hand-feeding Cooper his homemade meals with patience and love, and making sure he stayed engaged through enrichment activities like snuffle mats that kept his mind active and tail wagging. She followed all my detailed instructions to a T, which is no small feat considering Cooper’s age, pickiness, and special routines. Cecilia struck the perfect balance between keeping Cooper active and making sure he stayed comfortable. He got plenty of movement and attention, without ever being pushed beyond his limits. As a bonus, she also house-sat during my trip and—believe it or not—caught a mouse! It’s hard to find someone you can trust not only with your beloved pet but also with your home, and Cecilia exceeded all expectations on both fronts. I came home to a happy dog and a spotless house. I would recommend Cecilia in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a truly compassionate, capable, and attentive caretaker.

Schedule
My schedule is quite variable yet flexible, as I am currently working part-time and attending school to become an EMT. I am often available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and during the evenings on weekdays, except Mondays and Wednesdays. Depending on my schedule week to week, I may also be able to do check-ins and dog walking during the day.
