Stellar pet sitting & dog walking!
Over 10 years of experience volunteering at rescues and shelters in the Bay Area and overseas. From 2015 to 2017, I worked at a busy local veterinary hospital as Kennel Supervisor. In June 2019, I became Pet First-Aid and CPR certified. I take a gentle-is-best approach to animal care, achieving lots of success with positive re-enforcement behavior correction. I've also developed lots of great problem solving techniques for animals that dislike taking medications or have grooming anxiety. I believe that exercise is a great way for pets to reduce anxiety and keep them focused on the fun stuff; running, sniffing, fetching, playing! When an animal is very attached to their comfort zone, I look for ways to gently motivate them. At the moment I have full availability

I like to stick to a routine with lots of opportunities for play, training re-enforcement, and downtime as needed. I’m very observant of what animals tell you through their behavior and I look for activities and solutions in a way that fosters their trust.

Cecilia was great. She was very thorough and asked a lot of good questions during our meet and greet. She house sat for us and our dog seemed content and the house was left spotless!

Cecilia cared for our senior cat for 5 days while we were away from the holidays and did an amazing job! She was super communicative and friendly from our initial contact, and provided excellent care and detailed reports for each drop-in visit. Her experience and comfort administering medication gave us peace of mind as well. During the visit, Cecilia really went above and beyond in her attentiveness - for example even cleaning build up off of our cat’s ears (from her topical medication) - and left our home just as clean as we left it. I would absolutely recommend Cecilia and would definitely book her again in the future!
Cecilia provided two weeks of daily in-home visits for our exceptionally affectionate cat. During the meet and greet, she asked great questions about our cat's care routine, and our cat took to her right away due to her friendly demeanor. Throughout her time cat sitting, she proved herself to be professional, thoughtful, and a great communicator, sending us detailed daily reports and photos. We can tell she really spent time with our cat because of how much calmer she was when we finally arrived home than she usually has been when other sitters have cat sat for her. I highly recommend Cecilia to anyone looking for a thoughtful and attentive pet sitter. Thanks again, Cecilia!

Schedule
Generally, I’m open for pet care during holidays and summer time. I structure my days around giving your pet a routine that alleviates the anxiety brought on by the sudden absence of their person/family by sticking to what’s familiar to them. Once they’re comfortable (and if it’s appropriate) I’ll add some surprise adventures.
Prices include all fees.
