Doggy's Day Home Pet Services

*detailed pricing info is in the two graphics in photo section* Hello! My name is Cayli and I have spent the last twelve years working with dogs and cats, beginning all the way back in 2013 when I was volunteering and fostering through local animal rescues. I have experience with dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, mostly stemming from my employment with dog boarding/doggy daycare facilities, as well as owning pets myself. While I genuinely loved being a Kennel Technician, many dogs and cats were not about the boarding life, some were so terrified and anxious that they could be destructive or hurt themselves, if not prescribed drugs such as Trazodone or Gabapentin. Sometimes our pets simply don’t thrive in this type of environment and would be more comfortable staying at home and awaiting your return, which is what led me to stumble upon the world of pet sitting. I wanted to provide reliable, high quality care (with transparency, of course) to all the shy cats and reactive dogs who just need time to warm up, and especially to our senior and special needs pets that require a lot of extra care. My goal is to give my fellow pet owners peace of mind, to limit the stress and anxiety of leaving your pets while you’re away. *At this time, I have not renewed my Dog First Aid and CPR certification, but I will be searching for a class soon! *Unfortunately, I am only capable of administering oral medications. I'm much too uncomfortable to confidently give injections.

Cayli has watched my boys for a couple of years now. She’s very reliable and my pets never seem stressed when I return. I can count on the same level of care I personally provide to them.

Cayli was the BEST in-home dog sitter we’ve ever had! She took care of our two elderly beagles and two younger rescues. She administered pills twice a day to our beagle and kept us updated with photos throughout the day! Our four dogs loved Cayli! We are so happy we’ve found her and will definitely book her for doggy sitting every time we need one!

Cayli was amazing! She handled my husky puppy and my families two dogs (husky&pomsky) like a champ! She even walked all three at the same time. She came over first to meet my dog before the sitting and my dog absolutely adored her. She was great about sending photos and updates throughout the day which made me feel so comfortable. I will definitely be hiring her again! Thank you so much Cayli!!!

Cayli did great with all of our crazy girls. She sent daily pictures and updates while we were away. We will definitely use her for any future trips 🙂

Calendar and availability

Schedule

As I am returning to pet sitting after stepping away for a while, I am currently working part-time. My work schedule does vary, but I primarily work evening shifts (the latest I am scheduled is 9:30pm). My goals is to return to pet sitting full-time, however I will need to keep my current job for the time being. This may determine whether or not I am the right fit for you and your pet's schedule, especially if they require medication or feeding at certain times. Sadly I may be limited to what bookings I can accept until I can leave my job for what I am truly passionate about: high quality, in-home pet care!

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I prefer to maintain your pet's daily routine as closely as I can during overnight bookings and their scheduled check-in visits. If you have any house rules, they will be respected and followed. I love lists and care sheets, so feel free to add as many details and notes as you like!

Pets

A typical day

Your pet is the boss, I'm just here to follow their commands! {Overnight Care} After the AM Routine, I may step out for a bit, if I have other scheduled services or personal obligations. Once I return (usually no more than four hours or less throughout the day) I'll spend some time with your pets for a bit in the afternoon. We might play with their favorite toy for some enrichment, go on a walk for some fresh air, let them show off their cool tricks with some "training" games for a yummy snack, or just take it easy and chill with some cuddles. After dinner, I’ll let them rest, and then we can play again and hangout before bedtime. Then it starts all over! {Check-In Visits} These visits are pretty flexible and can include whatever your pet’s may need for the scheduled time! Playtime, cuddles, a little mental enrichment, medication administration, breakfast/lunch/dinner, or a walk.

No detail is too small or insignificant when it comes to your pets! I encourage all my clients to disclose any health conditions or behavioral issues. Anything at all that you feel I should be aware of to ensure their safety and wellbeing, as well as your peace of mind. I will never accept the responsibility of caring for your pet if I don’t feel confident in my ability to meet their needs. My top priority is always doing what’s best for you and your pets! Of course I want to know the fun stuff too! Tell me about their silly habits or just their preferences overall.
