I’m a certified veterinary assistant so rest assured, your babies will be in good hands 💖 Pets have been a central part of my life since childhood, so naturally I’ve grown up researching breeds of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, as well and everything each needs to thrive. I currently live with 4 large dogs, a handful of cats, a snake, and fish! I have taken care of some farm animals (horses, goats, chickens, ducks), plus aquatic turtles. I taught my own dogs basic manners throughout my teen years, so when it comes to training I am always willing to help if necessary!

I always believe it’s important to attempt to keep a pets routine intact even if an owner is away to reduce as much stress as possible. I have much experience giving medications to cats and dogs if they need some extra attention in that way, including oral medications, injectable medications and subcutaneous fluids. Cayleigh was great. Took perfect care of our babies. This was our first big trip that family wasn’t watching them and we were stressing. Our boy (dog) has anxiety from an early shelter experience when it comes to us leaving and she was great with him. Made sure to keep him occupied with lots of walks, play time and lovings. Our girls (cats) are shy and really just need someone to fill their bowl and scoop their litter but by the time we were about to head back home she was seeing them around telling me that she was taking very good care of them in our absence. Made our trip so much easier knowing that she was here taking care of our babies just like we would want them taken care of sending all kinds of photos and updates so we would know that everyone was doing well while we were away. 10 out of 10 would have her pet sit for us again. Cayleigh was absolutely perfect.

As a veterinary assistant, Cayleigh has shown an exemplary love and respect for animals. Her passion is obvious in her care and handling of our beloved friends and family members and there is not a task that is too difficult or unreasonable for her to complete when it comes to providing the perfect environment for your pet. Cayleigh is knowledgeable on pet health, temperament, nutrition, and behavior, and is both trustworthy and kind. Cayleigh is the perfect person to trust with your fur babies care. I cannot recommend her enough.

While I can’t board your pets at my home, I am more than happy to come and either check in on your pet/s throughout the day or stay with them if needed! Send me a PM and we can work out what schedule might be best for you!
