I’ve worked with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats and exotic animals through working at two different animal hospitals that included kennel work. One hospital I started working at the age of 16 , where I did kennel work for a year and then was promoted to working as a Veterinarian Assistant. I am currently working at an Exotic animal hospital that sees cats and dogs as well as domestic exotic animals . I have been working there for about a year . The hospital also allows overnight boarding for exotic animals so I have experience taking care of a plethora of different types of animals. Along with, I used to walk my neighbor’s dog after school when I was younger. I am currently just graduated with my bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary Science and will be attending Veterinary School in the fall.

After our initial appointment with Cayla we decided she was the right person to care for our two dogs over the summer. Cayla shows genuine concern for their wellbeing. She is very observant and let us know when she noticed anything that needed attention, her reports indicated at times if he was showing signs of decline or signs of improvement (He is 13 1/2 years old). I also looked forward to reading the adventures of our 3 year old dog on her walks. I highly recommend Cayla to care for your pets. If I could give her 100 stars I would! Because the bottom line is when you have a senior dog with special needs (like needing medicine, eye drops, sometimes coercion to eat his food, etc.) you want someone who is going to be patient, gentle, professional and reliable that you can trust with their care. Cayla was on time and friendly. Leo came back happy and well-exercised. She also provided photos from his walk, which is great because these walk photos will make me happy when I travel and see he is in good hands.

After our regular dog walker threw out her back, we connected with Cayla on Rover. Cayla’s veterinary experience, professionalism and attention to detail convinced us she was the perfect fit for our dogs. We have a senior dog with arthritis that requires special attention and Cayla did an amazing job with him. She administered his medication and was very detailed with her report on his behavior. Our younger dog was excited to walk with Cayla, too! She also left a detailed report of her walk. I highly recommend Cayla to care for your fur babies! I appreciate the detailed care, professionalism and experience that she brings to Rover.
Cayla is such a special person and has always been a loving pet caregiver to my dog Ricco. She has been walking and sitting after Ricco, even before joining Rover! I am so happy she can now take her caregiving talents to Rover. Cayla displays her veterinary technician skills with Ricco by always giving me detailed observations of Ricco, exceptional love, patience and training.
