I do work a full time job, but outside of my 8 hours per day, I am fully committed to taking care of dogs at any time, day or night. Walks, potty breaks, before or after work, checking in on my lunch break, etc. Whatever works for me! Even if they just need someone to come over and give a few scratches.

I prefer doing a meet and greet appointment with both owner and pet before our first one on one meeting. I find this helps the pets to recognize me and not get scared or reactive to a stranger.
A typical day
I’m very active inside and outside with the dogs. Going for walks, playing outside, and absolutely love the lap dog cuddles after it’s all said and done!!

Pet care experience
Louisville’s own Doctor Doolittle! I absolutely love animals and understand that they are part of the family. I have taken care of an array of pets other than cats and dogs including rabbits, hamsters, and little fishy friends. Pets needing specialty care are my specialty! I have experience with puppies who are potty training, pregnant dogs, dogs with anxiety, dogs needing medications, and dogs recovering from surgery. I want to make sure their needs are met first and that they feel secure in their own environments.

Cayla is THE BEST!!! She has been pet sitting for me for years. She’s very flexible; she’s been there for us for last minute emergencies, long trips abroad, and short outings. We have more pets than just pups and she’s great with them all! My doggies are always well cared for, and she sends lots of photos and videos of them playing and cuddling to put my mind at ease. Don’t look any further. She is the perfect lady to hire!
