Availability
We can care for pets during the week, but you will have to understand that I work 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday and my husbands current schedule at the hospital is 12 hour shifts Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings out of town, temporarily. So your pets would be alone with mine 8 hours per day Monday through Wednesday. The other days one or both of us are home. I can do home visits before and after work and anytime on weekends. I also can have doggie day care only on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. I can help with house sitting Friday and Saturday nights but I can only do 12 hour overnights.. I can’t stay the full 24 hours. I can do walks only after work and on weekends.

Our pets are always with us whenever we are home. If we pet sit, the pets are always in the room with us, I never just leave an animal alone. We have a small outside area where pets relieve themselves, but no yard.

We prefer small and medium dogs and dogs that are friendly with other dogs and cats (although the cat usually prefers to hang out by herself in another room, she’s 17) We can also pet sit cats.
A typical day
We love couch potato’s who love to curl up, watch TV, be scratched and hang out. Both of us are studying for big tests right now so our lifestyles are more sedentary then active currently. .

Pet care experience
We will love your dog like it is our own. We love sitting on the couch and sleeping in bed and cuddling with all the pets. When I was little and got scared, instead of climbing in to bed with my parents, I climbed in to bed with our boxer. The rest is history, I can’t sleep well without a dog in my bed. I showed horses growing up, my dad stood a boxer at stud and my mom raised Siamese kittens. We also had hamsters, birds, fish, rabbits and everything else people kept as pets. My husband also shares my love of animals. We now have several small dogs and cat. I am a psychologist and work full time Monday to Friday and my husband is an RN who just finished nurse practitioner school, he works 3 12 hour shifts at night, but they vary a bit week to week. I have fostered for the Palm Springs Animal Shelter for the past 10 years now. Our animals are used to fosters so they usually adopt to them easily and several of my pets are quiet old.

Cathy did a great job taking care of Yogi while we were on vacation! She was honest and expressed any concerns she had about his behavior while he adjusted to new surroundings. Cathy took such excellent care of our elderly dog, Sadie. She asked questions about how she could provide the best possible experience for our dog, which we greatly appreciated. We feel lucky to have found her and will definitely book her again in the future.
Cathy took care my Gucci very good and im very satisfied..She sent me pictures to let me know whats my Gucci doing… I highly recommend her..
