I have always had a passion and love for animals ever since I was little. I have experience caring for many different animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, rats, ferrets, birds, lizards, frogs, and fish. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter and even ran a summer camp there about animal health and safety for children. I have experience in administering medications and topical treatments in different animals. I also have experience in dogs with anxiety. Leaving your pet in someone's care can be nerve racking, but I understand that your pet is family. I have a 15 Ib Havapoo male (neutered) dog that will keep your furry friend company.

Cathy is great. We and Hoagie immediately felt comfortable with her. She welcomed Hoagie into her home like he was part of her pack. Hoagie and Milo got along great. We will definitely use Cathy again!
Greatest experience ever! My pup is an extremely shy rescue who gets scared an anxious easily. Cathy was so gentle and knew exactly how to act to gain my dog's trust. She sent pics and updates often. I was relieved to see how my dog adjusted to his new environment. I will use Cathy again for sure.
Very respectful when coming into our home. She took care of our 2 golden retrievers and rabbit when we were away on vacation. We got picture updates which gave us peace of mind knowing our pets were being well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Cathy has watched my pet chinchillas many times and there is a reason I keep coming back! Over the years I have had three little chinchillas, one of which is on daily syringe medication. Cathy has watched them many times and they are always so well taken care of. She sends a bunch of photos while I am away and I can see my little guys running around and having so much fun. She handles my chinchillas with care and made extra accommodations for them with a colder and darker room during the day. She listened to my medication instructions and was a natural at making them calm for their syringe feeding. Cathy is very responsive, and easy to get ahold of. I come back from my trips to a clean cage and happy boys who are so calm and relaxed in her hands. It's such a relief to know my pets are in good hands and that I don't have to worry about them. I would recommend Cathy to anyone to watch their pets.

Schedule
I work throughout the week but I am home all day Saturday and Sunday to watch your furry friends. I am also available weekday mornings until around noon so I can make accomodations if needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced in yard for your dog to run around in. Please be aware that the fence is 2.6 ft tall (about waist height). The height isn't a problem for smaller dogs. My dog is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in my bed with me at night.
Pets
A typical day
Usually on my days off, I like to spend my time outdoors with my dog, if the weather permits. My dog loves playing fetch in the backyard or going on walks. There are some nice walking paths near where I live.
