Your Furbaby’s Home away from Home
I love all dogs - big or small, young and old. After losing my dog to cancer, I offered to take care of a stranger’s 14 year old dog over Christmas so she could go to England to visit family. Best experience I had. After that, I began fostering dogs from rescues and loved doing that. I have a 12 year old labradoodle who was a rescue. He is a big love bug and gets along with all dogs. He loves having other fur friends stay with us. I have taken care of my friends’ dogs for week long vacations and/or weekends. My adult children (27 and 24 year old) live with me at home. My 24 year old daughter has an intellectual disability and she loves taking care of animals. It is good experience for her.

Cathy provided excellent care to our pup. We could see as soon as we walked in the door that Cathy's home was set up well to care for dogs. Cathy sent us pictures of Mocha throughout the weekend, and took her to Bruce Pit for off leash play. When we picked her up, Mocha was happy to see us, but not anxious to leave. Cathy's daughter also provided lots of attention and affection to our dog. We are grateful for their care.

Schedule
I am current working from home so I am available all week including weekends. My son (27 years old) also works from home so pets get a lot of attention when they stay with us.

Safety, trust & environment
I am in a single home with a fenced back yard. I have no problem allowing dogs on couches and beds. I am close to an off leash dog park and enjoy taking my dogs there to let off energy.
Pets
A typical day
I love taking my dog to off leash parks daily to run and socialize with other dogs. I have a fully fenced in yard where they can play or lie and enjoy themselves on the deck. In the summer the kiddie pool is set up for those who enjoy frolicking in the water.
