I work from home, which both Miles and I love! We have a large fenced in yard with a nice deck where he can sunbathe, do his zoomies, and just live his best life! Miles can get a little bored while I work, so a furry sibling would make his day! I just feel like there would be a lot of winning going on! ❤️

Our home: Miles and I live in a two-story house and a large 100’ x 50’ fenced in yard—one of the main reasons I bought it (that’s how much I love my dog! 😄). The first floor is the main living space and is very dog-friendly: vinyl floors, washable rugs, and protective couch covers. Miles sleeps in the bed at night and roams the house while I work or need to run errands. With that being said, I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s needs and whatever that looks like for them—stress-free is always the motto. We’re in a safe, quiet country setting with only "one way in and one way out" road so very low amount of traffic, perfect for relaxed pets. I only watch one dog at a time or two if they are from the same household. Your home: I am also happy to come to your house if that would be a better fit for you and your pet. The only caveat at would be that I have to bring Miles with. Think of it as a built-in bro for your pet. Bonus points: I also could work from your home if you needed that as well! Happy to help!

Information Cathy C. would like to know about your pet

To help us provide the best care possible, we ask that you share information about your dog’s personality, activity level, feeding schedule, medical needs, and daily routine before booking. Knowing what keeps your pup comfortable helps me create a safe and stress-free experience while they’re in my care. For the health and safety of all dogs, I require up-to-date vaccination records for Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP prior to boarding or daycare services. This also includes heart worm, as well as, flea and tick. I am happy to provide Miles if requested.

A typical day

I usually wake up around 7:00AM and let Miles out to potty and chase squirrels while I enjoy my coffee. During the day, he goes out as needed, enjoys walks in the afternoon or evening, and naps curled up by my feet while I work. I keep him entertained with dog-friendly TV, healthy frozen Kongs, and even a squirrel feeder in the front yard—he loves to sit on his perch, it’s totally a thing. If you know, you know! We usually crawl into bed around 9:00 and sleeping by 10:00pm and thats a day in the life of "Miles and Me"

Pet care experience

At Miles + Me Pet Care, LLC, I specialize in caring for just 1 dog or 2 from the same household at one time, so the vibes are chill. I’ve found that nervous dogs and first-time boarders tend to settle in really well here and thrive with this kind of one-on-one care. My dog Miles is a 6 years old mixed breed dog who plays a big role in that—he has a natural way of bringing out the best in every dog that stays with us and helping them feel comfortable and at ease.

Seriously, Cathy did an amazing job with our pup. She even laid down extra rugs for our pup who struggles with hardwood floors sometimes. Kept us updated on everything. Took him for plenty of walks. Really a great experience! Highly recommend!!

Cathy was a true five-star sitter. Not only did I absolutely love her, but my dog instantly did too—which says everything since she’s very shy and timid. Cathy, along with her dog Miles, made her feel comfortable, confident, and completely at home. Leaving your dog can be stressful, but Cathy made the entire experience easy and gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I could tell she cared for my girl like her own and went above and beyond to make sure she felt safe, loved, and had plenty of fun. She kept me updated with photos and videos throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. Cathy was kind, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful from start to finish. I truly wish I could give more than five stars. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Cathy was great! Highly suggest. This was our first time using Rover (and Cathy) and she made us feel so comfortable from the first meet and greet! She sent us photos, videos, and updates of our puppy’s stay that made our time away feel easy. We will be using her for our next vacation and couldn’t recommend anyone better!

Cathy took great care of my two cats, Ginsburg and Pineapple. She put my mind at ease by sending me pictures every day and I could see from the pictures how both cats came to trust her in a short period of time and to also play with her. The clincher for me was that Ginsburg came to greet her when she stopped in to return my key. Ginsburg is a great judge of character. If I need someone to take care of Ginsburg and Pineapple in the future, Cathy would be our first choice.
