Carhy is so friendly and welcoming and I knew from day one that our dog was going to be happy staying with her and her family. This is the first time our 11 year old dog has stayed with anyone other than family or friends, so we were a little anxious about how he would react. We needn’t have worried, as he was happy and relaxed from the moment he met Cathy and her dog. He loved his daily walks and being with her family and we appreciated the regular photos and updates. A big thank you to Cathy and we will happily entrust her with our boy again.

This was the first time I had boarded Bella with a Rover host and it could not have been better. Cathy made Bella (and myself) feel very comfortable straight away. I was very confident that she would settle down immediately and be very happy for the duration and neither of us were disappointed. A beautiful house with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. I can't recommend Cathy enough.

Our dog stayed with Cathy for 2 nights over the bank holiday. Everything was so easy. We had a quick meet and greet beforehand and then while he stayed with her we got lots of lovely updates and photos. I wouldn’t hesitate sending him to stay again when we next need it. We couldn’t recommend Cathy highly enough. From the very beginning, she was absolutely fantastic. Before booking our dogs in for their 11-day stay, we arranged a meet-and-greet and immediately felt reassured. Cathy was incredibly welcoming, clear about everything we needed to know, and genuinely interested in understanding our dogs and their individual needs. Both of our dogs are seniors, so I left Cathy with quite a few instructions around their diet, medication and general care. She followed everything brilliantly and looked after them with so much care and attention. While we were away, she kept us regularly updated with lovely photos and little summaries of their days, which was incredibly reassuring and meant we could relax knowing they were happy and in very safe hands. What impressed us most was how Cathy handled an unexpected issue with one of our dogs. She noticed that he’d injured a couple of his claws and, without any fuss, took him straight to our own vet, whose details we had left with her. She dealt with everything herself and contacted us afterwards to explain what had happened, what the vet had said and the medication he needed. Thankfully, it was nothing serious, but the way she handled the situation spoke volumes about how responsible, thoughtful and caring she is. Perhaps the biggest endorsement came from the dogs themselves! When we collected them, they were so relaxed and settled that they barely seemed bothered that we’d arrived. One of our dogs in particular makes it very obvious when she hasn’t enjoyed being left somewhere, normally greeting us with frantic barking and grabbing hold of our sleeves as if to say, “Don’t you dare leave me again!” With Cathy, there was none of that. She was completely calm and content, which told us everything we needed to know about how happy and at home she’d felt. We’re so grateful to Cathy for taking such wonderful care of them both. Leaving two senior dogs for 11 days can be worrying, but she made the whole experience so easy and reassuring. We’d absolutely trust her with them again and very much hope she’ll have them back in the future!

Cathy was fabulous. Really friendly, everything went as planned and arranged. Cathy clearly has a love of dogs and treated Dexter like her own. Will definitely be using her again and would recommend. .

Perfect. Lots of photos and communication. Wouldn’t hesitate to leave Charlie with Cathy and family again!
