I was the manager of a dog room at a humane society for 2.5 years. I have worked in various animal shelters since 2007, and I have been pet sitting for neighbor's pets since I was a kid. I was the Director for Adams County Humane Society for three years when I left for a less stressful lifestyle. Being the Director put me in charge of the health, safety and well-being of up to 50 animals at any given time. Helping homeless animals is my passion! I am able to handle administration of a variety of medications and special diets, walk large dogs, snuggle, train and treat your pup like my own. I watch your pets in your own home to make them the most comfortable while you are away. Hate picking up after your dog? Ask me about my Pooper Scooper services! If you have any questions, please ask! I am completely transparent about the care that you will receive for your loved pets and I am completely transparent on my prices. You will know exactly what type of care you're receiving as well as what you're paying before we confirm the booking. Animals are my passion. I love seeing their happy faces! Due to inappropriate spammers taking advantage of us pet sitters here on Rover I am including a disclaimer: Until we have met and booked a stay, I will only communicate through the Rover app. Rover provides both the owners and the sitters with a phone number if you want to text or call, this is to insure your privacy and safety, as well as mine. I do not accept checks, all payments must be made through Rover. Again, this is for your safety and your pets safety, as well as mine. Yes, Rover charges fees, and I get fees deducted out of the rate that I charge. But again, these fees provide safety for you, your pets and for me. I am always delighted to take on a new job and it sickens me that spammers are trying to take advantage of pet sitters. Whew, now that that's all said, have a great day!
