Catherine is an absolute gem! She was able to watch our needy puppy on very last minute notice. She kept us updated and sent pictures during the visit.

Catherine watched my six month old golden doodle and did an excellent job. She sent photos and updates throughout the day, and kept to our puppy’s schedule. She also taught him a new trick.

Afi had a great experience as a rescue puppy he had specially needs, he was treated with compassion and love.

My daughter, Catherine, has been a dog lover for her entire life! She grew up with our Golden Retriever and Jack Russell, and several other pets over the years. She also took care of many neighborhood pets when families were away or needed extra help! Catherine dog sat with our dogs on numerous occasions (and still does) when we were traveling. A very compassionate and empathetic person, Catherine is also very responsible. Your dog would be lucky to spend some time with Catherine! I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter!

I always knew that Catherine grew up with dogs in the house and loved animals. But I could tell she is a natural when caring for animals the first time she met Maisy, my rescue dog who is typically afraid of people. Maisy immediately took to Catherine — due to what I can only assume to be Catherine’s welcoming and warm demeanor. I was in awe that within seconds, Maisy had stopped her usual shaking and was sitting on Catherine’s lap. As I spent more time with Catherine throughout the years, I realized Maisy isn’t the only animal to take to her. Whether walking down the streets in Brooklyn or sitting on a bench in Central Park, dogs always approach her and are pleasantly content when she greets them with head pats and stomach rubs. Catherine volunteers her free time to make sure animals are cared for and healthy. She has been generous enough to take my precious Maisy for walks on uncrowded streets when I have to work late, and she is the only person I have ever trusted to watch Maisy when I go out of town. All of the friends and family that I’ve referred Catherine to pet-sit for when they are away have been blown away by the care she provides. Catherine is more than ready to share her talents and kindness with the Rover community, and any dog that she walks or cares for will be in the best possible hands and lucky to have her.
