I’m make my own hours and supplement my income with delivery jobs so dog schedules are easy to work into my day. I don’t usually like to leave a dog longer than four hours and tend to wind down with them at night by 8 or 9pm. As a homebody mostly I also rarely have something going on in the evening either 🤩

Safety, trust & environment
I know how important it is to be extra safe and to triple check and not take things for granted. I always keep dogs on leash, secure homes, and keep an eye out to give us room to maneuver when out on walks. Dogs are going to be different with me than their own owners so I am extra aware they may behave a bit differently than usual.
Information Catherine S. would like to know about your pet
What can make them nervous or overload their system? What are great ways to help redirect or help them feel secure in a scary moment? Being able to connect with your pet is important to help them feel safe and enjoy their time out. Also love to know about their quirks and if I can give them snacks, positive reinforcement is my favorite!
A typical day
I’m a big personality and like to feel like we’re going on a little adventure on our own. I like to keep it local to where they live and will likely take them to a local park to stroll and talk and people and dog watch. Maybe some singing ? I love to sing to them. Also loves pup who just want scratches and movies marathons 🥰

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends and family pets since I was 15. I’ve worked with dogs professionally for 20 years. My time spent first managing a large kennel indoor kennel and assisting the veterinarians in the adjoining hospital. Then in physical therapy where I learned how to help lots of dogs with different kinds of mobility issues. I then spent years at outdoor doggy daycare with hundred of dogs seen every weekday. I’ve taken dogs to agility and run them to the vet. I understand the importance of detail from years of working with pets on different medications and foods. I like to help dogs feel good, whether that’s a visit and scratches and a massage or a goofy and fun walk with a snack, I’m here for it. Everyone is different and believe in treating them all with the special attention they deserve.

Catherine was a fantastic sitter for our pups and we've already booked her again for a longer stay! Highly recommended.

Catherine did a fantastic job with Bailey. She’s very patient and did a great job of building trust with my shy, anxious, noisy dog.

Catherine was amazing. She left the house exactly as we left(clean). She washed and dried the bed sheets. My dog was happy when I came back home! Thank you

We’ve been working with Catherine for over two years now, and she is truly the best. She takes such great care of Beans and always goes above and beyond. This stay included lots of Olympics watching and plenty of rainy walks, he absolutely loved it. We’re so grateful for her!
