Hi! I’m Cat, and caring for animals has truly been part of my whole life. I’ve had dogs and cats in my home since the day I was born, and I’ve always loved caring for animals of every kind: small or large, young or old, playful, shy, cuddly, independent, or somewhere in between. Being around animals feels natural to me, and getting to know each pet’s unique personality is one of my favorite parts of caring for them. I currently share my home with my two best furry companions: Hobbes, my 3-year-old white golden retriever (male, neutered), and Gizmo, my sweet senior calico cat who has been my NYC sidekick for the past 15 years. Gizmo has gracefully handled city life for years and gets along well with dogs, including Hobbes, who is playful, gentle, and very social. Caring for my own pets over the years has given me hands-on experience with a wide range of needs, including: 🐾 Puppies, kittens, and senior pets 🐾 High-energy dogs (and cats) who need patience, structure, and enrichment 🐾 Shy or slow-to-warm pets who need calm and respectful care 🐾 Giving medications 🐾 Caring for sick or aging pets 🐾 Cleaning up accidents or helping with extra care during stressful moments 🐾 Maintaining routines so pets feel safe and comfortable I know firsthand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I also know every animal is different. Some want adventure and playtime, some want snuggles, some want space and quiet company, and many want a mix depending on the day. I’m happy meeting them exactly where they are. Professionally, I’ve spent over a decade in leadership communications and operations roles at major tech and advertising companies, which means I’m highly dependable, communicative, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. As a pet parent myself, I know how reassuring updates can be, so I’m happy to send thoughtful check-ins and plenty of photos while you’re away. My goal is simple: for your pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable, and for you to feel genuinely at ease knowing they’re in caring and capable hands. If you are looking for someone who knows how to expertly train or work with dogs and cats, Then Catherine is your person. I have seen how Catherine expertly reinforces good behavior and is able to manage dogs from large to small. I personally watched Catherin's dog while she was out of town. You can tell a lot about an owner when dog sitting for them. Her dog did not have the normal anxieties that I usually see when animals are in a new environment and without their owner. Catherine's dog was calm and well tempered and this is a sign of a great dog owner and trainer. Catherine will treat your animals like her own babies and make sure they are well taken care of.
Catherine is a lover of all animals. She is extremely well organized , punctual, and excellent with time management and scheduling her day efficiently. Catherine is very detail oriented and has an excellent memory. Catherine will go above and beyond for the animal and owner alike . She is an excellent dog and cat mommy and I know she will treat your pets like her own. She has a lovely bubbly personality and exudes positivity . She give her 100 percent to everything and everyone she cares about .

Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine, so it fits very naturally into my schedule. Hobbes gets a minimum of 3 thirty-minute walks every day, plus regular playtime, enrichment, and 3 healthy meals, and I’m very used to building my day around pets’ routines and needs. My schedule is currently very flexible, and I’m happy to accommodate recurring care or ad hoc/last-minute requests whenever possible. As a pet parent, I know how stressful unexpected schedule changes, late nights at the office, or last-minute plans can be, and I’m glad to be in a fully remote and flexible season where I can often help.

Safety, trust & environment
Creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment is always my top priority. I share my home with Hobbes, my friendly 3-year-old neutered white golden retriever, and Gizmo, my sweet senior calico cat who has been my NYC companion for 15 years and gets along well with dogs. We also have a large private ground-floor patio where dogs can safely get extra movement, sniffing, and playtime outside. Inside, our apartment has 2 bedrooms plus the living room, so there’s plenty of space for slow introductions, downtime, or separation if a pet prefers their own quiet area. We also keep multiple comfy beds, crates if needed, toys, and extra bowls to help pets feel cozy, comfortable, and entertained while they’re here. I’m very detail-oriented about routines and comfort. I have experience with medications, senior pets, illness, accidents and cleanup, and I’m patient with both high-energy pets and shy pets who need extra time to settle in. My goal is always to help pets feel safe and at ease while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I’m also happy to send plenty of updates and photos so you feel connected and confident while you’re away.
