I work Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm so i before and after my shift I can take care of your furry, scaly or slimy friends! I also don’t work weekends at all so my availability is wide open!

When working with animals in their own homes, I think it’s important to understand you’re coming into their space and to work slowly to earn their trust! I have worked with many different animals and know how to read body language, so if your pet is uncomfortable I know how to work with them and listen to their needs.

A typical day
I love walking around neighborhoods and letting the dog show me which way they want to go. Depending on the dog, I can run or hike with them to really tire them out. In terms of cats, if they want cuddles I have plenty of time to sit with them!

Pet care experience
I am a veterinary assistant and have worked and surrounded myself with animals my whole life. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, worked with vets, and was a dog handler and a doggie daycare over the past few summer years. I have experience with cat, dogs, fish, rodents, reptiles, and more. I love hiking and spending time outside as well, so hikes with dogs are more than welcome! I recently moved to Boise and am excited to get to know the area, so taking your dog on walks is the perfect excuse for me to explore ;)

Catie was the best dog sitter we had, we used her several times until we moved away. Wish we could have taken her with us!! She took such great care of our little Elphie. Elphie had some health issues but Catie was able to manage those with no issues at all. She stayed at our home multiple times and was absolutely the best guest ever. Elphie was always excited to see Catie, even when she wasn’t coming to stay. Catie is kind, caring, responsible and her love for all animals makes her a wonderful person to watch your pet. Not to mention all her previous experience working at shelters, volunteering and working with animals of all kinds for many, many years! Doesn’t get any better than Catie!!
