Hello and thank you for checking out my river profile! I am currently studying biology with veterinary medicine being my end goal. I have years of experience in grooming and dog walking and sitting, and I have been taking care of an Ark’s worth of pets since I was little. I am very comfortable with bigger dogs as well as small dogs, I never walk multiple dogs at a time unless they know each other, and I love taking pups on hikes and runs as well as regular walks. My dogs absolutely loved having Catherine come stay! She learned their routines quickly, took fantastic care of them and my house, and was delightful to work with. I am very glad that she was available to stay and look forward to working with her again in the future! Highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful experience with her watching our dogs for an entire week. She was attentive, caring, and very responsible. She sent us photos regularly, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. She brushed them, kept them clean, gave them plenty of companionship, and did an excellent job keeping them calm — with almost no barking, which is not an easy task with multiple dogs. It was clear that they felt comfortable and well cared for in her presence. We truly appreciated her dedication and the loving way she treated our dogs. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter.

My schedule is currently wide open, I can be available almost any day of the week. I have left open days so I have a “weekend” but ultimately we could come to an agreement if you are looking for flexibility in scheduling.

I will treat your dog like my own and spend a ton of time with them. I get along really well with dogs that chill at home but turn high energy on the trail, as I love walking and hiking.

A typical day
I love seeing the world through a dogs eyes. When I’m taking care of someone’s dog, I try to think what that particular dog would enjoy. Some dogs love swimming, some love running, some don’t want to do anything. I try to allow each dog the space to be themselves and show me how they would like to spend their day.

- My preference is for sporting breeds that will respond well to my high energy level and match my high mileage on walks. If your dog cannot be walked I must know ahead of time. If your dog has a bite history I must know ahead of time. I survived a dog attack at a young age and as such will not be the best fit for a dog with a violence/bite record.
