I have extensive experience caring for dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, and chickens, but I am open and excited to look after any kind of pet. Over the past three years, I’ve completed more than 80 sits through TrustedHousesitters, Rover, and private clients, ranging from weekend stays to month-long house sits. My experience includes two years as a full-time, nomadic pet sitter and the past year offering a mix of boarding, house sitting, dog walking and doggy daycare. I have watched dogs and cats of all ages and have experience administering medication (including insulin, pills, liquid). I also have experience with a variety of farm animals as I watched an entire farm by myself including goats, sheep, turkeys, rabbits, cats and dogs. In addition to my more recent experience, I have had many house/pet sitting gigs throughout the years. I periodically watched my housemate's cat in college. I grew up dog sitting my family friend's dog and cat sitting for a couple of different families. I also nannied for 4 years, and have experience looking after houses, cleaning, and keeping my clients homes in great condition. I am originally from California, but my home base is Portland, OR. My favorite activities include running, hiking, and anything outdoorsy. I am a marathon runner and I have completed 7 marathons so far and have run numerous half marathons. I also really like exploring, traveling and trying new food and coffee places.

We scheduled a regular morning walk three times a week for a month during a very busy season of our lives - Catherine was always on time for pick up and drop off and the pictures were great. Will be booking again!

Schedule
I love house/pet sitting because it lets me spend my days with animals and support myself through full time pet care. I enjoy staying active with the pets I watch through walks, playtime, and outdoor time, and I also enjoy relaxing with them. I recently moved back to Portland after a gap year and I am focusing on expanding my pet care business after falling in love with pet sitting abroad and being a digital nomad from 2022 to 2025. I also have 3.5 years of experience in medical communications and am a UC Davis alum.

While caring for your pet and home, I will be available on my cell and will text picture updates, so you can feel at ease while you are away and will be sure to give your pet plenty of cuddles and love.
A typical day
I absolutely adore animals and am very active and really enjoy hiking and walks with dogs. A typical day includes feeding, caring for, and cuddling with your pet. If you have an active dog, I would love to take it on walks/hikes/jogs.
