My schedule is open and flexible to fit the needs of pet parents. Whether it’s early-morning 🐶 🐾 walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight care, I can adjust to your pet’s routine. I’m currently available every Saturday evening and have open availability from Sunday through Tuesday. With plenty of time to dedicate, I’ll make sure your pets get the attention and care they deserve while working around your schedule.

I always prioritize safety, trust, and comfort ☀️ in every service I provide. In a client’s home, I follow instructions carefully, keeping pets secure, happy, and at ease. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment where they can relax and feel comfortable. I use owner-provided leashes for secure walks, monitor interactions closely, and follow all dietary or medical needs with precision—because your pet’s well-being is my top priority. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies 🐶 to senior companions. Throughout the years, I’ve shared my life with many wonderful dogs, including Standard Poodles, Shih Tzus, Dobermans, German Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, Schnauzers, Labradors, and Beagles. I also bring a lifetime of cat care experience, having raised and loved breeds such as Persians, Himalayans, Torties, and American Shorthairs. 🐈⬛

A typical day
A day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, active, and comfortable. I love going on long walks or hikes, whether it’s along NJ’s beautiful 🏖️ beaches, through the mountains, or just enjoying a simple game of fetch 🎾 🐾 in the yard. Since I’ve lived in Ocean and Monmouth Counties my whole life, I know all the best spots for safe, fun adventures with furry companions. Every pet has their own rhythm, and I’m happy to match it—whether that means energetic playtime, cozy 💕 cuddle sessions, or calm, quiet companionship. If needed, I can also provide safe and reliable 🚗 transportation to the vet, groomer, or other appointments, making sure your pet is cared for every step of the way.

My schedule’s open and flexible so I can truly meet the needs of each family I work with. Some days could start with an early-morning 🔆🐾 walk to get tails wagging, while others might be filled with midday check-ins, playtime in the yard, and even overnight 🐕💖 snuggles for pets who need extra company. I’m currently available every Saturday evening, with open availability Sunday through Tuesday, giving me plenty of time to dedicate to your pet and their unique routine. On my walks, I could work on leash skills and basic obedience to help your pup feel safe, confident and well-mannered. I also have experience caring for high-energy dogs who need extra exercise, as well as special-needs pets who may require a gentler pace and more patience. I’m a strong multitasker, attentive to detail, and always make time for excellent communication—sending daily updates, notes, and pictures so you’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing. With First Aid knowledge and Emergency Preparedness, you can trust that your furry loved ones are in safe, capable hands every step of the way.

Catherine was a blessing when we needed a sitter to stay with our Bella while we attended a family funeral. She was thorough in making sure she understood our care instructions, she was loving in her handling of our pup, and careful and respectful of our home. We have a laundry list of things that go into her meals and she carefully read through and made sure she knew where everything was and how it was administered. I am always a little worried when we leave the pup, but I felt sure that Bella would be in good hands after walking thru things with Catherine. She kept us informed with daily diary entries of the day's events and a stream of pictures of Bella's walks and couch sessions. We would not hesitate to use Catherine again!
Your pets are in excellent care with Catherine. This was my first time using Rover and needed a sitter for 2 small hound dogs and a cat for 2 weeks while my husband and I went out of the country. We were nervous to say the least, then we met Catherine. From the first meet up with the pups we just knew that she would provide wonderful and loving care to our babies. To start she was amazing with our senior cat and I have to say I believe that she even brought her out of her shell a bit. Our dogs were happy and healthy when we arrived home. Catherine kept in twice daily contact with us which we loved. We received pictures of our pets with each status update. She cuddled with them, watched tv with them and even played calming music for them while we were gone. She brought some tows and helpful products of her won to use with our pets. She asked us about everything she planned on using before hand and we agreed with everything. She also asked more questions about each pet and their routine then we could have even thought of. She was super friendly, neat and cleaned up after herself and the pets. She even laundered the bed sheets!! We would book her for every trip if we could. Thank you Catherine for providing us with a magnificent Rover experience. Ryleigh, Ziva, and Ollie send their love.
Catherine was a lifesaver for my Misty who has bad separation anxiety. She walked her three - four times a day and not short walks nice long walks. Also sent me numerous pictures so I knew my fur baby was safe and having fun and relaxed. I came home to a happy dog and no chewed-up shoes. 10/10, booking again!
Catherine was wonderful in the years she cared for my three dogs. They can really be a handful, but she did an excellent job every time I needed her. She did overnight stays while I was on vacation or business trips as well as a weekly walk schedule. If I hadn’t moved she would still be taking care of my dogs.
