Hi! I'm Catherine. I have been pet sitting for various people in my area since I was about 16 (28 currently) and am absolutely in love with it! I have a 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix named Luna and a Newfoundland puppy named Sonny. I treat animals like they're a part of my family. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge animal lover. I'm very compassionate towards animals and would love nothing more than to take care of them for the rest of my life. I am currently available for dog walking and drop in visits on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I could also help out with transporting a pet to the vet/groomer if needed. While with your pet, I'll send you plenty of pictures of them and provide details of my visit/walk. In December of 2016, I graduated from Old Dominion University with my BFA in Print and Photo Media. This fall of 2021, I am beginning my Masters Program in Art Therapy and Counseling at EVMS. I worked as a kennel attendant and receptionist at Paws Pet Resort in Williamsburg for four years. This job has helped me gain experience with all types of dogs! I would be so thankful to be able to take care of your pet and spoil them :)

Safety, trust & environment
In your home, whatever routine your pet is used to, I will follow that routine to keep them comfortable. I always keep an eye on pets to ensure they are not getting into anything they’re not supposed to. If you have a fenced in yard, I always make sure the gates are closed before letting your pet out.

Catherine took great care of our babies and left our house in tip top shape!!! We received lots of photos and our dogs seemed to have a great time. We will be booking her again for sure when we have another vacation or weekend away!
We LOVE Catherine! My dogs have crazy separation anxiety, but they're so comfortable with her. She's super sweet, and she truly loves our fur-babes!

Catherine was great, she took amazing care of my dog Dudley. She stayed at my house fort 8 days while i was away. This was the first time I used Rover and l couldn't be happier. Catherine is very friendly and caring. She is clearly very knowledgeable about dogs and very much enjoys working with them. I highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a dog sitter, especially if you'd prefer her to stay at your home. She is extremely respectful and will treat your pet and home incredibly well.

Schedule
I’m currently in grad school which is why my availability is currently only on M, F, Sa and Su. I am happy to spend my free weekends with your pet :)
