I work each, but I come home at lunch to walk everyone and let them play. I am just 10 mins from my work and have cameras throughout the house to check in on them. I may also work from home, from time to time.

I have 2 spare bedrooms for the pups to stay in, and allow them to choose where they feel best to sleep I have tempe pedic dog beds for the pups, and two sofas for them to choose from as well.

Information Catherine L. would like to know about your pet
I always like do meet and greets prior to your pup(s) staying with me. Please provide proof of vet records at this time. I like to cover any issues with daily activities, food allergies, and demeanor at the meet and greet. I have fostered for local bulldog, boxer, husky, and mixed breed rescues; and currently have a boxer, english bulldog, and Dane of my own. I have learned a great deal over the years about these breeds. I will care for special needs and senior pups, after all- they only get better with age! :). For ease of mind my vet always has someone on call for after hours needs. My sweet cat Luke is 13 and in renal failure; I've become a pro with administering subq fluids. He doesn't have a lot of time left, so I keep him separate from the others.
A typical day
I live in the quiet country and take long walks daily. I have a wonderful dog park nearby that I frequently visit. In the summer months, I provide a puppy pool and doggy ice cream! I have tons of toys and balls to fetch with, and can also make them gluten free dog treats to snack on!

Pet care experience
Let me start by saying, I love animals. I have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed many over the years. I will do whatever I can to keep them happy and healthy. :). I say this to let you know that I have been doing this for a while, and am very passionate about caring for animals- big and small. I started volunteering at local shelters and veterinary clinics when I was living in Franklin, Tn, 18 years ago. I currently help out with several local rescues and frequent the dog parks/events in Birmingham. I enjoy getting the pups out in the fresh air to play and get exercise! Something important to know- I have a knack for home made dog treats and cupcakes for the pups. I've learned that a way to a dogs heart is thru belly rubs and treats! ;) Nothing makes me happier than being around animals and showing them love. If you need references, just ask. Everyone who knows me; knows I will do anything for my fur-babies and yours. !Please note-! I just moved to Louisiana and am not currently able to offer boarding at my residence.

A warm welcome to my dogs, she was very attentive to them. Very responsive throughout the process and while sitting. Very capable of taking care of our older fur baby.
Catherine is absolutely amazing, very flexible and easy to work with. Once you do the meet&greet you know your pup is in good hands 🙌🏻 It was our first but definitely not last encounter :)
