Availability
My schedule is quite flexible. I work from home as a freelancer in tech, however I'm currently unable to accommodate dogs in my own home for boarding or daycare. Drop ins, sittings, and walks are all OK!

A fulfilled dog is a happy dog! Some dogs are sniffers, some love play, and others thrive on mental enrichment. Whether your dog is a cuddle bug or believes ball is life, I'll work with them to ensure they're happy and relaxed. That said, your instructions are #1 on any booking. Potty breaks and food or water needs are the main priority. I can also reinforce loose leash walking, calm greetings, etc

Information Catherine K. would like to know about your pet
How is your dog on leash walks? Does he or she like playing with other dogs? And medications or special needs? What's your feeding schedule and procedure?
A typical day
We go for walks and adventures all over - from nearby trails, to dog parks, to neighborhood exploring! We also love to play mental stimulation games like food puzzles or sniffing out hidden treats (just kibble if your dog can't have treats).

Pet care experience
I've been around dogs my whole life! In 2019 I took my dog to obedience training and ended up consistently taking her through agility and scent work over the next 3 years. More recently, I've volunteered with guide dog training organizations, and earlier this year started working towards a CCPDT-KA certification. -- I have two dogs: Jelly, a 15 yr old senior Chihuahua mix who is blind but super sweet. Soya, a 7 yr old GSD mix who is energetic, loves people, and playing with other dogs. While I'm experienced with dog introductions, Jelly is a bit too frail for play and walks these days and I can walk/visit your pup with or without Soya. I do not introduce dogs until after I've met them solo, and never without your explicit permission and discussion of details beforehand.
Reviews
Catherine is super friendly, kind, and has an amazingly deep connection with pets. She gave my dog tons of love and I came back home to a happy pupper who was tired from her active day with Catherine. She even sent me pictures about some of the adventures they went on together, so cute! I've also met her dog, Soya, a couple of times and she was always well behaved and happy—I can guarantee you that your pet will be in great hands with Catherine.
I can't recommend Catherine enough. She was kind enough to take care of my dog when I was unable to and she has never given me cause to regret it. Catherine is an enthusiastic dog lover. She was able to handle my large dog on walks, and he loved nothing more than chasing squirrels and running up to strangers. I've always appreciated that Catherine is professional, punctual, and communicative. I've had many caregivers for my dog and I trust Catherine the most.
Catherine loves dogs and takes amazing care of her own dog, Soya. The amount of research and care Catherine has put into raising Soya makes her a great fit to care for anyone else's dog as well. Soya herself is a fun, energetic, and friendly dog. Catherine would be a responsive and responsible caretaker for any pup that comes her way.
