I had a dog for 15 years who I took for walks, well-trained, and cared for. Our home has a large backyard with a maintained lawn where your pet can play and enjoy some quiet time. We live near a park which is walking distance where your pet can meet and play with other dogs. We do not have cats.

I cannot say enough good things about Catherine and Ernie and the care they provided for my English Labrador, Luna. Luna stayed with them for six days and nights, and the difference in her behavior has been remarkable. It's now been three days since she came home, and I am still noticing positive changes in her temperament and obedience. They provided the perfect balance of structure, consistency, and what I would call "tough love," which is exactly what Luna needed. Before her stay, Luna could be difficult on walks, would pull on the leash, react aggressively toward other dogs, and even try to bite her collar when I put it on. Catherine and Ernie not only worked with Luna during her stay, but they also took the time to teach me techniques that I could continue using at home. The results were almost immediate. Luna no longer tries to bite her collar, walks much more calmly, and is significantly easier to handle on a leash. One of the biggest improvements came from introducing a prong collar and teaching me how to use it correctly. Walking Luna is now much more enjoyable, and she is far less reactive toward other dogs. Catherine also recommended training videos and resources to help me continue Luna's progress. There are countless dog-training videos on YouTube, but it was incredibly valuable to have someone show me techniques that were specifically effective for my dog. Another thing I truly appreciated was the communication. Catherine kept me updated throughout Luna's stay with regular texts, photos, and videos, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to see Luna's progress firsthand. If you are looking for dog sitters who genuinely care about your dog's well-being and are willing to go above and beyond to help improve behavior and training, I highly recommend Catherine and Ernie. Luna came home happier, calmer, and more obedient, and I am extremely grateful for everything they did for her.

Mrs. Catherine and Mr. Ernie made our baby their priority during his stay! They are very caring and loving. They watched our baby for 2 whole weeks while we were traveling overseas. Mrs. Catherine was constantly in contact throughout my vacation, which resulted in me not stressing and actually able to enjoy my vacation, it gave me peace of mind knowing that Max was in great hands and well taken care of. We feel blessed to have them and I highly recommend them.
Catherine is an amazing sitter. Her home is clean and peaceful and my dog had a lovely time there. You can tell she loves dogs and my dog loves her and her husband, even when my husband came to pick him up he went to lie next to Ernie! We plan to use her regularly when we need her service should her schedule allow. Thanks for watching him on short notice!
Catherine and Ernie were amazing with Daisy the 7 nights we were away. They took her on walks and outings and played with her. They sent us regular updates and photos so we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing she was in such good care.

I am a retired schoolteacher, occasionally do volunteer work in the Sacramento community, enjoy traveling, and stay active. I can spend one on one time with your pet.

Our home is single story with a large fenced backyard and a raised bed where we grow our own vegetables. A public park is walking distance from our home where your pet can play and meet other dogs. We don't have cats and our neighborhood is relatively quiet. We also have a radio flyer wagon which can be used for older dogs.
A typical day
Our home is located near a public park which is walking distance and where I can throw a ball and fetch. Your dog will be stimulated by the different smells around the neighborhood while meeting and playing with other dogs.
