Safety, trust & environment
Safety is always my top priority. Dogs in my care never meet other dogs unless the owner has approved it and I know the situation is safe. When I care for pets in their home, I follow your routines exactly and keep things calm, clean, and secure. I pay close attention to doors, leashes, feeding instructions, and any special needs. Your dog will be safe, supervised, and treated with the same care I give my own (plus a few extra snuggles!) I live in a townhome with no yard, so all bathroom breaks and walks are done on leash and under close supervision. If a dog stays in my home, we will always schedule a meet and greet with my pup ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable.

Information Catherine E. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, routines, quirks, or behaviors I should be aware of so I can give them the best and safest care possible. I am patient and experienced with seniors, shy pups, and dogs who need slow introductions. I welcome all breeds and personalities. Sharing anything that helps your dog feel comfortable, whether it’s their favorite toy or something that makes them nervous, helps me tailor their care. A meet and greet beforehand ensures everyone feels relaxed and set up for success.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of fresh air, snuggles, and structured fun. We go on leashed walks around the neighborhood, explore new smells, and get some good exercise in. I love to throw the ball, play tug, and let them show off their tricks. I also use snuffle mats, puzzle toys, or a wobble kong for mental stimulation, especially if they are fast eaters who benefit from slowing down. If your dog prefers a calmer day, I am just as happy to relax, enjoy sniffaris, and give plenty of belly rubs to keep them company. I always follow your dog’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure.

Pet care experience
I am a massive dog lover and have cared for many different breeds throughout my life. I grew up with a pomeranian puppy and later two twin labs. As an adult I’ve volunteered at shelters and currently foster dogs for a local rescue. In 2020 I adopted my first dog on my own, a senior lab pit mix who was my world and spoiled beyond measure for 4 wonderful years. My husband and I now have an 11 pound chiweenie who keeps us active and entertained. I jump at every chance to walk my neighbors’ dogs and spend time with pups of all ages, needs and personalities. Your dog will be cared for with the same love and attention I give my own.
Reviews
Catherine was amazing with my elderly dog. I was so nervous to leave my 17 year old quirky baby with someone but Catherine and her husband took very good care of her and she felt right at home. I will definitely be using her again.
Catherine has taken care of my pup multiple times, and every single time, she treats her like a queen—showering her with love, attention, and so much care. I always feel completely at ease knowing my dog is with her. Catherine has also been a passionate foster dog mom, which really shows in the way she understands and connects with animals of all personalities and needs. Any pet would be lucky to have her, and I can’t recommend her enough for anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dedicated sitter or walker. If you’re looking for someone who will love your pet like family, Catherine is the perfect choice!
Catherine is very, very passionate about dogs! She loves all dogs and is super patient and caring. She arguably loves dogs more than people!!! Catherine has watched my dog countless times and always takes such great care of her. She also has a variety of experience in caring for dogs, from healthy to sick. No matter your dog’s needs, she is willing to do what it takes to make them happy and comfortable. You will not find a better person to care for your furry friends!
Catherine has provided dog sitting and dog walking for our 5 year old wheaten terrier many times over the last two years. Catherine is always careful to make sure our dog gets everything she needs, and our dog loves her! Catherine is flexible and reliable, so we know we can count on her when we need her. I would highly recommend her for your fur babies!
