Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I have a genuine love and passion for caring for them. I understand that leaving your beloved dog in someone else’s care can feel daunting, which is why I take great pride in providing a safe, loving and comfortable home-from-home experience. I have extensive experience caring for and looking after all kinds of animals, having had animals since a very young age. I’m confident in understanding their individual personalities, needs and routines. Whether your dog is full of energy and loves long walks, prefers plenty of cuddles and companionship, or simply enjoys relaxing in a peaceful environment, I will make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I live in a small but secure one-bedroom house, offering a cosy and welcoming environment with all the home comforts your dog could need during their stay. I believe dogs are happiest when they feel safe, settled and included, so I aim to make their time with me as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Your dog’s wellbeing is my top priority. I will take the time to get to know them, follow their usual routines wherever possible and give them plenty of love, attention, exercise and companionship. I also know how important it is for owners to have peace of mind while they are away. I will provide regular updates, including photos, so you can see how your furry family member is getting on and know that they are happy, safe and receiving the very best care. For me, caring for animals isn’t simply a service — it’s something I genuinely love. Your dog will be treated with the same kindness, patience and affection that I would give my own.

Catherine has been in our lives for over two years now and my, what a god send! Kind, caring, responsible, trustworthy, punctual and always makes herself available to our needs. Our dog Zap loves his time and walks with Catherine and we can see his face light up when she arrives which completely puts our human minds at ease. Couldn't recommend enough! A Star dog care.
Catherine is a sister and best friend who has immense compassion and kindness for all living things and family she is surrounded by. Her love and nurturing qualities would suit well looking after all animals and with the now new found time at her disposal she can make sure to keep all animals entertained and safe whilst owners are away or at work.
Cat is kind, reliable, and clearly passionate about dogs. Her communication is great which gave me complete peace of mind. The dogs were happy & relaxed with her. I would highly recommend Cat to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!

Schedule
I have flexible part-time working hours, which allows me to be very accommodating to each dog owner’s individual schedule and needs. I’m happy to discuss preferred walking times, drop-offs, pick-ups and routines to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for both you and your dog. I offer overnight boarding throughout weekends, as well as some weekday boarding, depending on availability and the amount of notice given. I’m also able to provide regular walks and daytime care around my working schedule. Because my work is flexible, I can dedicate plenty of time, attention and playtime to the dogs in my care. I’ll make sure they have lots of company, exercise, affection and interaction rather than simply being left alone for long periods. I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine wherever possible, including their preferred walking times, feeding schedule, playtime and bedtime routine. My aim is to provide a comfortable, caring and home-from-home experience while giving owners peace of mind that their dog is well looked after.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety, happiness and comfort are my top priorities. I want every dog who stays with me to feel relaxed, secure and truly at home, while giving owners complete peace of mind that their pet is being well cared for. Although I don’t have a fenced garden, I’m fortunate to have a lovely park just a short distance away, providing plenty of opportunity for regular exercise, fresh air and playtime. I also live close to a beautiful woodland walking route, which is perfect for dogs who enjoy longer walks and need that extra bit of exercise and adventure. I’m happy to tailor walks and activities around your dog’s age, energy level and usual routine, so whether they prefer a gentle stroll, a longer woodland walk or plenty of playtime, I’ll make sure they get the attention and exercise they need. I also have a little companion of my own — Poppy, my miniature Yorkshire Terrier. She is a year and a half old, very friendly and absolutely loves dogs of all shapes and sizes. She enjoys having furry friends around and will be great company, fun and comfort for your dog while they’re staying with us. Of course, I understand that every dog is different. I’ll always take their personality, temperament and individual needs into consideration, and introductions with Poppy will be handled carefully and at a pace that is comfortable for everyone. A trial meeting before enlisting my services would be advisable. My aim is to create a safe, loving and enjoyable home-from-home environment where your dog receives plenty of attention, companionship, exercise and affection while you’re away.
