Pet care experience

Just really love dogs mate ✌🏼🤙🏼

I love being outdoors and active, making me an ideal dogwalker. Though I have no dogs of my own, I love being around them and have provided ad hoc care services to friends and family when needed.

Absolutely thrilled with the service we received from Catherine from start to finish. Catherine saved the day when another dog sitter fell through at the last moment and we are incredibly grateful. Reliable, excellent communication, clearly adores dogs and took excellent care of our dog Bear. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Schedule

I’m a freelance social media manager, making my working life flexible and freeing me to care for animals as well. Working remotely or in a coffee shop (dog friendly, of course!) means I have time and space free for boarding

Safety, trust & environment

All cables and objects harmful to dogs are kept in containers off the ground and the house is kept generally tidy, avoiding the risk of choking hazards. I have a calm and quiet living space, making it ideal for all pets, especially those of a more timid or anxious nature

A typical day

I’m one hell of a walker. Love walks in general so you can pretty much guarantee a wander to a cool spot. I grew up in the countryside so I love finding green spaces and nature. My friends and I have a habit of heading up a nearby trail for the afternoon, always made better by the presence of dogs!

If they have any social issues/triggers so I can mitigate the risk of anxiety. What kind of spaces are their norm (ie: the kinds of places you normally take them on walks) as a semblance of normality, especially when being with a sitter, can be reassuring and help reduce anxiety. This is especially important with dogs who may suffer from separation anxiety as I wouldn’t want to cause them any undue stress.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
