Teacher by Day, Pet Pal by Night
I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—starting with Sasha, our sweet senior Golden Retriever rescue. She had mobility issues and needed daily medication, so I learned early on how to be gentle, patient, and attentive to special needs pets. For the past two years, I’ve been an in-home pet sitter for a variety of dogs (big, small, shy, and spunky), as well as cats and even a few fish. I tailor my care to each animal’s personality and routine so they feel safe and happy while their humans are away. Outside of pet sitting, I teach middle school band and orchestra—which means I have a ton of practice with patience, empathy, and reading non-verbal cues. Turns out, those skills are just as helpful with pets as they are with 7th graders!

I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine—feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and cuddle time—so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I also make sure your home stays tidy and secure, and I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Whether your pet needs quiet companionship or lots of play, I adjust to their unique needs and personality.

Catherine was awesome! She showed lots of attentive care for our two cats for her overnight stays with them. She would send videos and photos every day so we didn’t have to worry about how they were doing. She was responsive and asked questions when she needed clarification. We came back to happy cats and a clean house! Would definitely recommend her to anyone.
I’m so grateful that we found Catherine! We faced the daunting task of needing to find a new dog sitter for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, and Catherine was fantastic, she was very communicative, both before and during. She took care of our senior dog and left the house in better condition than she found it. We would recommend Catherine with no hesitation and work with her again.

Schedule
During the summer (June–July), I have open availability for in-home pet sitting. While I may step out occasionally for personal errands, I’m very flexible and can adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. During the school year, I teach from 6:30am to 3:30pm, so I’m available for evening care and overnight stays. I also have full availability during school breaks and holidays, which I’ll keep updated in the app so you’ll always know when I’m free to help!
