I have my own dog, and having her has taught me a lot about what it actually means to take care of another living thing. The trust, the routine, the little inside jokes you build with them over time. That's the energy I bring wherever I'm caring for a pet, whether it's my place or yours. My friends have affectionately coined me as the "dog auntie" which means a lot to me. I've hung out with all kinds of dogs over the years, big goofy ones like St. Bernards and Rottweilers, little guys like Dachshunds and Chihuahuas, and have experience raising and caring for puppies. Every dog's different, and I like meeting them on their own terms instead of doing the same thing with every pet. I prioritize following instructions because I know routine matters to pets. I strive to make it feel like your pet got to finish the day by spending it with a friend.

Thank you for watching Gigi and Bacon, the only feedback I would say is I would’ve liked more pictures throughout this day. Otherwise we really appreciate you taking care of GG and Bacon, we just got back and they both appear to be well nourished and well taken care of.
Catherine is very sweet. My pup enjoyed staying a week at her house. She gave her lots of walks in the park and along the beach.
Catherine took great care of Sophie! We would love to have her again.

Schedule
I work part-time from home as a mental health therapist, which gives me a flexible schedule and means I'm home for most of the day, not just squeezing in visits before or after work. I'm also a dog owner myself (my pup is a very active 1-year-old!), so I understand firsthand what it takes to keep an energetic dog engaged, exercised, and cared for. Whether it's a structured walk, playtime, or just being present and attentive, I can adapt to your pet's specific routine and needs.

Following instructions with integrity is imperative to me, I take the time to understand each pet's routine, feeding schedule, and any quirks or needs before I start, and I stick to it closely whether I'm in my home or yours. Beyond the logistics, I love engaging with pets socially, offering lots of warmth, curiosity, and attention so they feel comfortable and cared for. I check in regularly with photo/video updates so you always know how your pet is doing, and I treat every home and pet with the same respect and attentiveness I'd want for my own. I do have a playful dog who is very social and plays well - if that's something you're comfortable with, I'd be happy to bring my fur baby along on adventures or walks.
A typical day
I love to help pets regulate their nervous systems with lots of outdoor exploration, cuddles, and playing with any toys they might have. I'm big on listening to pet's cues to help me inform which activity might be best suited.
