Looking for new furry friends!
I love animals and the joy they can bring to our lives. Growing up with 3 dogs, I know the dedication and effort it takes to look after fur babies. I have been honored to pet sit for a few of my friends' and family's pets, ranging from small to medium-sized dogs. For these sits, I would feed the dogs, take them out to use the bathroom, take them for walks, and spending as much time as I can with them to make them feel less lonely. I will gladly take care of your little puppy (because they will always be a puppy to me, no matter their age), whether it's check-ins, walks, playing, or even just a few belly rubs. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and loved in their environment, while their owners are away, so let me help your fur babies feel good!

Typically, when I look after pets, I always announce myself as I enter the space, so they know someone is in the home. Depending on the pet, I either try to greet and get friendly with the pet, letting the pet sniff and get used to me, or just trying to make the pet feel as comfortable as they can with a stranger entering the house. If the pet isn’t as social, I try to talk to the pet through my visit, so they get used to my voice, but I will not approach the pet to make sure they feel safe. For dogs, I take them out for a walk/potty break, letting them roam and sniff. Once returning, I make sure the dog has enough food or water and play with it for a few minutes, depending on how much time I have available. For cats, I greet them, check their food and water, clean their litterbox if needed, and play with them if they want to. I believe that a pet’s comfort and safety are the top priority. As much as I want to play with your pet, I will respect their wishes and what they feel when I take care of them.

Over the past few years, we’ve relied on Catherin for drop-in visits with our cat whenever we went away. Always very dependable, and she’s even been able to help us out on short notice. She’s a great communicator and keeps us updated, so we know our cat is well taken care of. She’s brought in mail and packages for us, and if we’ve had to leave any specific instructions for her, she’s followed them no problem! She is absolutely an animal lover! Our cat is normally shy with anyone outside our immediate family, but she took to Catherin right away. Would 100% recommend.
Catherin is always my first pick when I need someone to check in on my pets. She is great with animals and has lots of experience so I always feel at ease!

Schedule
I usually spend most of my evenings hanging out with my roommates cat after work, sometimes feeding him. We usually watch TV together or he sits by me while I read or cook dinner. Other nights, I'm typically with other friends pets!
