Home away from home for your dog 🐾
Hi, I’m Catharine, a Lancashire lass now living in Weston-super-Mare with my partner, Tom. We’re both huge animal lovers and would love to look after your pet 🐾 We live in a detached house with a secure, fully fenced garden, and because we both work from home, your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and cuddles throughout the day. We don’t currently have pets (or children!) of our own as we’re still settling into our first home after recently moving. We’d love a pet of our own one day, but for now we’re more than happy being the people friends and family call when they need someone to look after theirs. We genuinely love having animals around the house. I’ve been animal mad for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs and cats, but my soul dog, Sandie, was extra special. He lived to the amazing age of 19 and was a huge part of my family. We had an especially close bond in his senior years when he became less mobile and relied on me a lot for comfort. Caring for him taught me so much about patience, empathy, and understanding an animal’s individual needs. I’ve done obedience training and even dog dancing with one of my previous dogs, so I’m comfortable with all sorts of personalities, routines, and energy levels. Our home is very peaceful, and we do our best to make every pet feel relaxed and safe. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing in the garden, or snoozing on the sofa after a busy day, they’ll get plenty of love and attention while they’re with us. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I promise to care for them as if they were my own and to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well looked after from the moment they arrive. We and Pablo had a great meet and greet, So booked a day stay . PABLO was very happy when we picked him up so will definitely book again . There was no tress what so ever . Lovely to deal with even with our little rascal ! X
Catherine looked after our 3 year old boxer Frankie who is high energy and excitement (and can be a bit much for some sitters). Lots of photos and updates of the day to set our minds to rest and one very happy tired boy coming home having had a lovely day out. Next day care already booked in - can definitely sense its a home away from home for your pup the minute you drop them off. 100% recommended.
Catherine is fabulous! I couldn't recommend her enough. She kept me frequently updated with pictures throughout the day and made my pooch feel welcomed and at home. Someone you can absolutely rely on to care for your animal :) thank you x
I honestly cannot praise Catherine enough. She looked after our pug, Doug, during temperatures of over 30°C, which is always a huge worry with pugs, but she was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She went above and beyond to keep him cool, comfortable, safe and happy, and it was clear from the updates that he was being cared for like one of her own. Catherine sent regular photos, messages and updates throughout his stay, which gave us complete peace of mind and meant we never had to worry. She clearly understood Doug’s needs and handled the heat better than we could have asked for. She even had a doggy pool for him to cool down in, which just shows how much thought and care she puts into looking after the dogs in her care. We have used other dog sitters before, but Catherine is on another level. The care, attention, kindness and effort she put in was outstanding. I can honestly say she is the only person I would want looking after Doug from now on. Thank you so much, Catherine. You have been amazing, and we are so grateful for everything you did for Doug.
This wonderful lady has been dogs sitting for many years for my family dog Elsie! She provides the highest quality of care to my beautiful furry friend and has created such a beautiful relationship with her. Extremely reliable and always happy to help with anything! Catherine is part of our family and I trust her with everything. Elsie gets more excited to see Catherine than she does me!!!

I can adapt to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. I work from home and can be quite flexible with my work.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, calm and comfortable environment where they feel part of the family. We have a secure garden for supervised outdoor time, and dogs will receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime and walks throughout the day. I always follow owners’ routines and preferences to help pets feel settled and at home.
A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, that might mean walks, games of fetch, playtime in the garden, enrichment activities, practising basic commands, or simply lots of cuddles and company. I’ve done obedience training, dog dancing and even swimming with my own dogs over the years, so I genuinely enjoy getting involved and keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated. For cats, I’m happy to spend time playing with their favourite toys, giving them attention and affection, or simply keeping them company if they prefer a quieter approach. My aim is always to make pets feel happy, comfortable and loved while they’re in my care.

- Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know about their usual routine, personality, likes and dislikes, and any special requirements they may have. It’s also helpful to know about their exercise needs, feeding schedule, training commands, any medical conditions or medications, and how they get along with other animals and people. The more I know in advance, the better I can make sure they feel comfortable, happy and at home while in my care.
