My husband and I are empty nesters who love animals and enjoy traveling. Our current lifestyle is focused on living a long and quality life. We are in excellent health, physically fit, and omnivorous. My availability varies with the seasons and the length of the commitment for care. I am in a unique position to help with house/pet sitting, whether your needs are general or specific. Life is good and I love what I am able to do with animals. Both of us have been farmers at different times over the years, and we miss the animals the most. Our horses and Jersey cows were family pets, much to the chagrin of our Blue Heeler. I have much knowledge of caring for many animals besides dogs and cats. As investors and landlords, we have cared for and personally maintained over 50 different properties, including farms, apartments, houses, condos, and beachfront developments. We are formally retired from that activity but from those years of experience you should see that I am fully capable of caring for and maintaining any property you may share with your animal family. "Tu casa es mi casa, temporaria." Our most recent pet was an Australian Cattle Dog named EPR (pronounced "Eeper"). He was named after an aviation engine monitor that measured high thrust, a reflection of his high energy and always at the ready. EPR taught me a great deal about the needs of high-energy dogs. I am a member of other house and petsitting platforms of which I have years of experience with 5-star reviews. Many of those are repeat clients. Some of my references come from those clients. I love traveling and visiting different cities and international countries, with English as my native language and Spanish as a secondary language. I have been fortunate to live and travel in various countries, particularly in the Western Hemisphere. Outside of the Midwest USA (Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas), our primary residences have been in Uruguay and Ecuador. I retired as a senior mainframe computer programmer. I love being outside and digging in the dirt. I even find time to volunteer at a local animal rescue center.
