I have always held a special place in my heart for dogs and will treat your dog as if they are my own. I recently took a short break from Rover as my pup passed away after 11 wonderful years with him. Although I'm not ready for a new dog of my own, I would love to continue dog sitting as getting to meet so many dogs over the last 3 years has been an absolute joy.

Caterina watched our dog Rooney (6yr husky mix) for 2 full weeks, she was super communicative and dedicated to Rooney’s well being and care. Her dog Nancy and Rooney hit it off a they had the best time together. Caterina genuinely loves dogs and goes above and beyond to make the dogs she cares for feel at home, and as an owner I felt at ease. This trip she also made time to take Rooney to the vet unexpectedly to get an allergy injection with no stress. Highly recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend Cat enough! She took amazing care of Lincoln while I was away in London for a week. He looked so happy and comfortable, and she was super communicative the whole time, sending lots of updates and photos which really put me at ease. This isn’t my first time booking with her and it definitely won’t be my last — I’d happily book again anytime. Thank you for taking such great care of him!

Caterina was amazing with Chloe! Had to travel for a few days and knew immediately at the meet and greet that Chloe would be in good hands.
Caterina took excellent care of our 5 years old husky-mix Rooney, while we were away for 5 nights. We typically leave her with family or friends and were a bit nervous to leave her with someone new, but Caterina made us feel at ease each step of the way. From the meet and greet, to sending us updates while we were away, and spending the time to get to know Rooney. Would highly recommend and would have Caterina watch Rooney again in a heartbeat! Super flexible and easy going, but also really kind any caring :)

Schedule
Although I work from home the majority of the time, I do have to go into the office a couple days a week. HOWEVER, I do have the flexibility to pick which days and how long I go in. Please let me know what days work best and I will try to accommodate as much as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
As I live in an apartment, I do not have an enclosed outdoor area but there are plenty of dog parks in the neighbourhood. I will never walk your dog off-leash or feed them anything they are not allowed as the safety and well-being of your dog is of the highest importance to me. I also have experience administrating oral and injectable medication.
Pets
A typical day
I will treat your dog as if they were my own which means they will have free reign of the apartment and will get all the cuddles and treats (if permitted). I live in the West End so I am fairly close to Stanley Park, Coal Harbour and English Bay so your pup can enjoy long walks on the beach as well!

- As I do sometimes care for multiple dogs at once, I would like to schedule a meet and greet ahead of time to ensure your furry friend would be a good fit. I also work from home attending virtual meetings and am unable to take on any dogs with excessive barking habits.
