I have had cats and dogs my entire life, so I am very familiar with taking care of pets. I have many years of experience feeding, walking, bathing, playing with, and training both cats and dogs. I have also spent much of my life on farms in some capacity, so I have experience with horses, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, pigs, fish, and more! I currently have two 4 year old cats and one 13 year old dog.

We couldn't have asked for a better housesitter! Not only did Cate take wonderful care of our two puppies, but she also left our home in pristine condition. It was such a relief to come home and find everything just as we left it, if not cleaner. Most importantly, our dogs were so happy and relaxed, which is the best sign that they were in great hands. I currently am a student at UW, so I am local and have plenty of time to take care of your pets when I am not in class! During the summer I am especially flexible and thus will be able to spend lots of time keeping your pets company.

Your pets would get the same treatment I give my own, with any preferences or modifications you prefer! I love my pets so I am always making sure they get the very best treatment. I play with my cats every day, feed them twice a day, scoop litter at least once a day, and cuddle with them daily. My dog gets walks two or three times a day and two meals a day (she also gets lots of healthy treats such as carrot shavings and peanut butter). We also have a fenced yard where she loves to go out and lay in the sun. I have experience taking care of pets with allergies and giving pets medication as well.
Pets
A typical day
I love to go on long walks, both around the neighborhood and on hikes, with the dogs I watch. I play games, fetch, and explore new areas with them. I love to play with various cat toys (the ribbon is my favorite) with the cats that I watch because it's fun to see them jump and play.
