One of the things I admire most about my daughter is how much she genuinely cares about dogs, especially those who have been abandoned or need extra help. She has a history of rescuing dogs and puppies in her home country, where stray and abandoned dogs are sadly common. She regularly donates to charities such as the RSPCA and Battersea, while also supporting smaller rescue organisations that can often go unnoticed. Her experience has made her incredibly compassionate and patient with dogs, and I have no doubt she would treat every dog in her care as part of our own family.

As her dad, I can honestly say that my daughter is an absolute lover of animals, especially dogs. She has grown up around animals of all shapes and sizes and has always had a natural love and patience for caring for them. Since having our family dog, I have seen how happy she is. Our dog keeps her active, gets her out and about, and gives her so much joy. She is constantly giving her cuddles and kisses and genuinely treats her like another member of the family. She always goes out of her way to make sure our dog has everything she could possibly need, from her food and everyday care to making sure she is happy, comfortable and well looked after. Her love for animals is very genuine, and it is clear that caring for them is something she truly enjoys. That is why I would have no hesitation in recommending her to look after anyone’s dog. I know she would give them the same love, attention and care that she gives our own.

I can highly recommend my daughter as a dog sitter. She goes far beyond the basics when it comes to caring for dogs. Having grown up around dogs, she understands that every dog has different needs and deserves the same love, patience and attention she gives our own. She takes a very hands-on approach with our current dog, including keeping on top of her allergies, making sure she receives the right care and attending to her vaccinations and other needs. She is always willing to contribute towards anything our dog needs, whether that’s food, medication, vet appointments or general care. She is responsible, caring and genuinely loves dogs. I have complete confidence in her ability to look after someone else’s dog and treat them as if they were her own. Any dog in her care would be very well looked after, loved and given plenty of attention.

Catarina has been a dog lover since she was a young girl. She rescued 3 dog in Portugal and every year returned she made sure she spent time with them. She has her own dog which she walks twice a day. She takes full care of her organising yearly health visits to the vet, vaccinations etc. Catarina know how to interact with dogs and is passionate about their welfare.
