Information Cat H. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know preferences, history and other information I need to know to give them the best possible care and consideration. How often you feed and walk them, their usual routine, any anxieties, fear, worries or other things I need to be aware of. Are they good with other dogs while out walking, what triggers do they have and the ways you manage and handle these situations? We will meet and chat before I receive your dog so we have covered all their needs and requirements.

A typical day

I love walking and walk everywhere. There will be lots of opportunities to go for walks, to play at home, and to snuggle up on the sofa or in their familiar bed. I will make sure that they can go to their safe place they've had enough interaction and just need some time out to rest and sleep.

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Cat. I am a lifelong carers of animals. I am passionate about all animals and animal welfare. I am a qualified Naturopath and I work as a mindful dog consultant to help with challenging and mis-understood behaviours in dogs using mindfulness practises. I am a member of International Institute for Canine Ethics, the International Mindfulness and Meditation Alliance, The Pet Care Partnership and the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter. Most of all I am caring, compassionate and patient.. I have a lot of experience of fostering dogs for varying lengths of stay for the Dogs Trust, their Freedom Project and Guide Dogs. I realise that being animal caregivers, we need a lot of support around us, therefore, I am now offering drop in visits. These services are available for any length of time within a 7 mile radius of my home. My drop in visits for dogs are for an hour hence the higher price of £45 per visit. This gives you peace of mind through the day knowing that your beloved animals are cared for unhurried, and being checked up on. If you required two visits a day and the second one was only for 30mins then the price will be reduced to £30 for the second visit. I am also able to offer house sits for weekends Friday to Sunday and sometimes Monday as long as the leave time is before 11am. Plus Thursday's after 4pm. I work with other professionals who take the same approach to animal care giving and are committed to ethical, force free and non-coercive care that gives the dogs some choice and autonomy. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and I look forward to being part of your animal caregiving support network.

Dogs appear happy and less stressed than in kennels. Cat was very informative and very pleasant to deal with

Cat did a brilliant job looking after our house and most importantly taking good care of our 3 year old Labrador Nala. Giving her lots of lovely walks

Cat looked after our labrador for a week whilst we were on hols abroad. We received regular updates and photos- which showed that Champers was very contented. It was a great experience and Cat looked after our house too - and when our auto feeder for the chickens failed - Cat stepped in and fed them manually . When we arrived home Champers was completely chilled out - which showed that she was happy too. We would certainly recommend Cat to anyone who is considering a dog sitter . It went very well .

My anxious dog Floki took to Cat immediately. She has a warming, calm vibe that animals just love. Cat took care of our pup and our home, keeping a consistent routine and sending daily updates and pictures. It’s no surprise that she is booked up so far in advance! Fantastic dog and house sitter.
