Gentle Hearts for Gentle Paws
Animals have always been a natural part of my caregiving experience. During the two years I worked in peoples homes providing childcare, caring for the family’s pets was often part of my daily routine as well. I’ve also provided dog and house sitting for family and friends over the years, and it’s something I’ve genuinely loved doing. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether that’s daily walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply relaxing together, I enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and giving them the attention they deserve. I know it can be hard leaving a beloved pet behind, so I’ll treat them with the same patience, kindness, and care I’d want for my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for. Fair warning…your pet may receive so much affection they almost forget to miss you.🐾🩵

Safety, trust & environment
I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. While you’re away, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own while also treating your home with the same respect. I believe coming home should feel peaceful, not overwhelming, so I’ll do my best to leave your home just as clean and organized as you left it; if not a little better if a mess was left in the scramble. I’ll carefully follow your pet’s normal routine, provide plenty of love, exercise, enrichment, and companionship, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with confidence. My hope is that when you walk through the door, your biggest job is simply reconnecting with your furry family member; everything else has already been taken care of.

Cassie was our lifesaver when we had to find someone to watch our girl asap. Aloy is super shy with strangers typically, but warmed up to Cassie so fast when we first met her! That was huge! We got lots of pictures and updates while we were gone, so we always knew what Aloy was up to and how she was feeling, which made us feel very comfortable despite being so far away. Can't recommend Cassie enough, we'll be booking again! :)

Schedule
I’m currently transitioning from my part-time job into pet care, so my availability is growing! At the moment, I’m available Friday evenings through Monday evenings, with weekday evening availability as well. My goal is to move into full-time pet care in the near future, allowing me even greater flexibility to meet your scheduling needs. When I’m not caring for pets, you’ll usually find me writing, reading, studying holistic wellness and spirituality, enjoying a good movie, spending time at the lake, or having game nights with friends.
