Pet care experience
Professional Pet Lover 🥰
I have grown up my whole life with dogs. Since birth and up until now, I’ve owned 3 dogs. Over the past 10+ years, I have cared for pets belonging to my friends, coworkers, and kind strangers. I have experience with high-energy dogs such as Border Collies, Labrador Retrievers, and Huskies, taking them to off-leash trails and beaches. I've also worked with reactive dogs, whether it's towards cars, bikes, other dogs, or kids. Additionally, I have worked extensively with senior dogs and currently have one. I also regularly walk strong and larger dogs, currently managing two 60+ lb dogs at the same time. I've worked with dogs recovering from injuries as well, ensuring they get appropriate exercise and care during their recovery. In my role as a dog sitter, I have walked dogs, house-sat, done drop-ins just to spend time with them, and also given baths, among other tasks. I’m also open to taking dogs on trails like Everett Crowley Park or Trout Lake if you ever want them to explore more nature! In terms of home care, I am very organized and keep my living space tidy. It brings me happiness, and I understand that as a guest in your home, you would appreciate things being kept in order as well. I want to ensure that you return to your place just the way it was before. I would ensure to take care of any plants you have and handle any household duties required of me. If there were to be any issues with your pets or the place, which I doubt will be likely, I would promptly communicate them to you.

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure to follow your pet’s routine and needs as closely as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’m a very organized and clean person, and especially as a guest in your home, I’ll always be respectful and keep everything tidy and in order. I’m also extra mindful when it comes to safety — making sure that doors and gates are securely closed and your pet doesn’t have any chance to slip out. What’s most important to me is that your pet feels relaxed in their own home, receives lots of care and attention, and is treated like family while you're gone
Ratings and reviews
Cassie truly went above and beyond for us. Spending lots of time with our babies, sending us daily reports on them, and even leaving the apartment spotless (I think cleaner than when we left!). Overall, so worth it to ease my anxiety and know that my boys were being well taken care of. Will 100% be booking again!

Cassie went truly above and beyond to care for our pets and our home. We consider ourselves lucky to be in her catchment area and will definitely be booking her again. She asked so many thoughtful questions to understand our animals’ needs and sent us lots of pics and updates to put our mind at ease. Truly a gem!

Cassie was amazing with our cats! She took the time to get to know them and also took great care of our home! She wrote detailed updates and we enjoyed all the photos and videos very much! Thank You Cassie! :-)

This is our second time booking with Cassie and like before she was thorough and responsive, kept our place tidy and of course - made sure our two girls were fed on time and comfortable. It gives us a peace of mind knowing that we don't have to worry about the basics being met while we are away, which is invaluable.

Cassie saved me in a last minute pinch and I feel so lucky to have found her. It was my first time using Rover and I had many reservations and was feeling a lot of uncertainty - but Cassie alleviated all of that. She has a wonderful energy - reassuring, playful, professional. She was so attentive and thoughtful with my senior boy Badger, and he immediately took to her in a way that felt very special. Highly recommend Cassie!

Cassie was so friendly and patient with my cat, who is often shy and spicy around new people. She was very communicative and prioritized my cat's safety, would definitely re-book next time I'm away!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I’m available during the day for walks and drop-in visits. Most evenings I’m also free, depending on whether I’m working a shift at my serving job — I typically work 1–2 shifts a week. For house sitting, I want to be transparent that, as noted on my profile, I also do dog walking and cat drop-ins during the day. This means I may be out of the house for blocks of time — usually between 10 AM–2 PM and possibly again from 3–5 PM, depending on my schedule. That said, I always ensure pets receive lots of care and attention, and if I know I have a particularly busy day, I won’t book a restaurant shift so I’m not gone both during the day and evening. Feel free to reach out — I’d love to find a time that works for both of us!

- I would like to know if there are any health concerns I should be aware of, and whether they take any medications. If there’s anything that might cause them to feel anxious or aggressive, please let me know so I can navigate their triggers appropriately. I have no breed preference when it comes to dogs. We can also discuss in more detail, in person, how to ensure your pet feels comfortable and has a positive experience with me — but feel free to still send over as much information as you'd like via text, and please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions.
