I’m currently in school but live only 10 minutes away from campus so I can easily make it back for breaks and walks during the day as I normally do with my own dog. I also have two horses who are dog friendly so if you would like, your dog would be able to come to the yard and come for hacks with Whisky and my horses!

I have a fenced in garden and am close to the Pentlands so I can provide hikes, but also regularly go to the beach with my puppy so I would also be happy to take them there. I am able to provide grooming services including baths and nail trims for an additional cost. As for house sitting, I am very tidy and take care of other's houses as if they were my own. I will also happily clean if needed, etc.

Prior to the visit, I require information about the dog's personality, special needs, and any medications given. I also prefer setting up a visit prior to watching or walking the dog as I think it's important, both for myself and the owners, to make sure it is a good match and that all necessary information is discussed.
A typical day
I can take them hiking, go for runs, or take them around the veterinary campus if the owner so chooses. I also take Whisky to Unleashed dog parks occasionally and will happily organise to take other pups with us for an additional cost contribution.

My name is Cassie and I’m a veterinary student and previous vet tech. I work with animals on a daily basis so I have experience with all sorts of animals, but especially dog and horses. I have worked as a vet tech since undergrad, interned at the Six Flags Great Adventure Safari with the veterinarian, and have been a horseback riding instructor/trainer for the last 8 years. I always put the animal first and am willing to provide extra care to make them the most comfortable, healthy, and happy they can be.

Cassie is so lovely. I was nervous about leaving my dog for a couple of nights but she was very reassuring and my dog was clearly comfortable with her right from the start. She’s very relaxed and confident with dogs and I felt happy that my dog would be well looked after. My dog returned home very happy and relaxed. I would definitely recommend Cassie.
Cassie was lovely. Really flexible with drop off/pick up times and very patient and understanding when my dog wasn't on her best behaviour. Would recommend.
We highly recommend Cassie. She is an outstanding and very responsible pet sitter. You can tell just from meeting her, she has a true love of all animals and why she is studying to be a veterinarian. Cassie watched our two english bulldogs (aged 2 and 12) for 4 days in our home and they loved her! I get very nervous leaving our one girl because of her age and because both pups have very precise needs and schedules. Cassie met everyone of their needs, as a matter of fact she made our girls feel so at ease, I don't think they realized we were gone. We will miss her while she is at college, but wish her all the best, and hope she specializes in English Bulldogs ! ?
