Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part-time in the evenings, with short shifts that are only about 3 hours long. This means pets would only be left alone for a brief period when I’m working. Outside of those hours, I’m home and able to spend plenty of time with the pets, giving them lots of attention, care, and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to be very present and attentive to each pet’s needs.

A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s routine, but usually includes walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention and affection. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with their favorite toys, and spending quality time with them so they feel comfortable and happy. I also make sure they have time to rest and relax, keeping their day calm, familiar, and fun.

Pet care experience
Although I am only 20, I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. My grandmother runs a wildlife rehabilitation center so I have taken care of lots of Albertan animals! Other than caring for wild animals, I also have two dogs of my own. I’ve never not had a dog in my house as my parents are also huge animal people. Caring for animals has always been and always will be my passion!

Cassidy was a great communicator and we appreciated the updates while we were gone. She was extremely flexible and helpful with our timing on the last day. We will use her again for sure.
Cassidy was wonderful, and we would absolutely recommend her. She stayed in our home with our two cats while we were away and took such good care of them. One of our cats has a chronic health condition and needs to follow a strict diet to avoid getting sick. Cassidy was very attentive and made sure his care instructions were followed carefully, which gave us so much peace of mind. She also brushed them, played with them, and sent us thoughtful updates with photos so we could see they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. On top of that, she took great care of our home and was clean, respectful, and responsible throughout her stay. We’re so grateful for the care she gave our kitties and our home, and we would happily book with her again!
Cassidy was great with communication and with our dogs! One of our dogs needs meds each evening and she was attentive to his needs. She stayed at our house for over a week and left everything in wonderfully clean condition! Our dogs are happy and we would love to rebook. Thank you!
Cassidy was wonderful and took excellent care of Finn. She even made sure to wash her sheets and towels. We’ll definitely be booking her again!
