Pet care is something I take seriously and plan my schedule around. During the school year, I have classes throughout the week, so I am not home 24/7. My availability varies by day, I have a couple of longer school days where I am away for most of the day, shorter class days where I am home much more, and my weekends are totally free! For days when I am away for longer stretches, I have family members nearby who are available to help with check-ins, feeding, bathroom breaks, and playtime when needed. I always make sure pets have the care, attention, and routine they need while I’m away. I value being upfront with owners about my schedule so we can make sure their pet’s needs are a good fit. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment.

I keep the home tidy, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.

A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s routine, but I always prioritize their needs first. During the school year, I may be away for classes during certain parts of the week. On my longer class days, I have family members available to help with check-ins, feeding, bathroom breaks, and companionship if needed. On shorter class days and weekends, I am able to spend more time at home with pets and provide extra walks, playtime, enrichment, and cuddles. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while they’re with me.

Pet care experience
Although I am only 20, I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. My grandmother runs a wildlife rehabilitation center so I have taken care of lots of Albertan animals! Other than caring for wild animals, I also have two dogs of my own. I’ve never not had a dog in my house as my parents are also huge animal people. Caring for animals has always been and always will be my passion!

Cassidy was a great communicator and we appreciated the updates while we were gone. She was extremely flexible and helpful with our timing on the last day. We will use her again for sure.
Cassidy was wonderful, and we would absolutely recommend her. She stayed in our home with our two cats while we were away and took such good care of them. One of our cats has a chronic health condition and needs to follow a strict diet to avoid getting sick. Cassidy was very attentive and made sure his care instructions were followed carefully, which gave us so much peace of mind. She also brushed them, played with them, and sent us thoughtful updates with photos so we could see they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. On top of that, she took great care of our home and was clean, respectful, and responsible throughout her stay. We’re so grateful for the care she gave our kitties and our home, and we would happily book with her again!
Cassidy was great with communication and with our dogs! One of our dogs needs meds each evening and she was attentive to his needs. She stayed at our house for over a week and left everything in wonderfully clean condition! Our dogs are happy and we would love to rebook. Thank you!
Cassidy was wonderful and took excellent care of Finn. She even made sure to wash her sheets and towels. We’ll definitely be booking her again!
