I’ve had two dogs my whole life and have dog-sat for many families. I do well at training puppies, teaching basics like “sit” and “stay,” as well as fun tricks like “shake.” I also care for my senior dog at home, so I’m experienced with older pets and those on special diets. While I can’t have my own dog right now because I’m in college, I truly enjoy being around dogs and giving them the love and care they deserve!

When caring for pets, I make sure their environment is comfortable and their needs are met. At my home, I take care of my senior dog, ensuring he gets his special diet and regular exercise. When pet-sitting, I follow the pets' usual routines, making sure they get their meals on time, plenty of playtime, and any necessary training or attention. I also stay mindful of special needs like medications or diet restrictions to keep them comfortable. Whether at my place or theirs, I focus on making pets feel at home.

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my routine because, as a graduate assistant for the University of Jamestown softball team, I mostly work remotely on my laptop, with the exception of daily one-hour meetings and two-hour practices. This flexible schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time to looking after pets, whether it’s taking them for walks, providing playtime, or simply spending quality time with them!
