Pet care experience

Certified Animal Lover🐾

I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses. In 2023, I completed the Animal Behavior College Basic Dog Obedience Program along with additional certificate courses in Training Shelter Dogs, Doggie Daycare, and Teaching Private Lessons. I’m also Pet CPR certified. Beyond my education, I’ve worked professionally with dogs in a daycare environment where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities. I understand canine body language, recognize signs of stress or overstimulation, and always prioritize safety and positive experiences. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, young, or a senior, I take the time to get to know their individual needs. I treat every dog with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I’d want for my own pet.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is always my top priority, whether I’m caring for my own pets or yours. I treat every dog as if they were a member of my own family, taking the time to get to know their personality, comfort level, and individual needs. Before every walk, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are properly fitted and secure. I stay aware of our surroundings, avoid potentially unsafe situations whenever possible, and always keep dogs safely leashed. I also pay close attention to each dog’s body language and behavior so I can recognize signs of stress, fear, fatigue, or overstimulation and adjust our walk accordingly. I’ll always follow your care instructions, including preferred walking routes, treats, medications (if applicable), and any training cues you’d like reinforced. After each visit, I’ll provide an update with photos so you can feel confident knowing your dog was safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal is to provide every dog with a fun, enriching, and safe experience while giving you peace of mind that they’re being cared for with patience, kindness, and professionalism.

Cassidy is an exceptional caregiver! It means a lot to me that he is more excited to see her than me. It means he loves her, too! I can always depend on her to give him the love, attention, and activity he needs. She takes him for walks, swim time, and cuddles. He gets the best care when he is with her. He is a reactive and anxious pup, but that does not faze her, and he does very well with her. Any pup and pup parent will be lucky to have her in their corner.

I have trusted Cassidy to care for my pets during my vacations for the past eight years, and she has always been dependable, responsible, and incredibly caring. She takes the time to make sure my pets feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while I’m away. Her attention to detail and genuine love for animals gives me complete peace of mind. I highly recommend Cassidy to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet caregiver.

Schedule

Caring for animals is already a big part of my life. I currently work professionally with dogs and genuinely enjoy spending my time with them. I’m available for dog walking on Fridays and weekends, and I make it a priority to give each dog my full attention during our time together. I understand that consistency is important, so I strive to be dependable, communicate with owners, and provide updates after each walk so you know your pup is happy and well cared for.

I like to learn as much as possible about each pet before our visit so I can provide the best care. It’s helpful to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, medical needs, medications, allergies, fears, triggers, and how they interact with people and other animals. I also appreciate knowing any commands they already know and what motivates them, whether it’s treats, favorite toys, or praise. Understanding these details helps me keep your pet safe, reduce stress, and make their time with me as enjoyable as possible.
