I’ve lived with pets for my whole life, and I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats (and 5 chickens!) at home. I have experience pet sitting for all kinds of animals (including ducks!), and all of the dogs and cats I’ve taken care of hold a special place in my heart. I took care of a cat who needed medicine squirted into her mouth each morning, as well as a dog who needed special medicine with her food. Overall, the biggest thing I bring to the table as a pet sitter is my love of all pets, and my dedication to making sure they receive the best love and care while you’re away.

Every pet I’ve taken care of has had slightly different needs and routines, and I always try to stick to that so not too much changes for them. I had a dog who needed a walk 3 times a day, and was super cuddly during the day, so I spent a lot of time cuddly and playing with her. I’ve also had cats who were very shy and nervous, so I made sure to give them space but also room for love if they wanted it. There’s no one way to care for pets that works universally, but I always make sure to feed/walk/play with them and give them the love and attention they need.

Cassidy was great with our nervous dog, Salty! She sent lots of updates and pictures.
Cassidy was an excellent pet sitter. She connected with our cats and dog immediately and I felt very relaxed knowing they were in her care. She was communicative and very responsive and I would hire her again without hesitation.
Cassidy took care of two cats in two households while we were on vacation two summers ago. She visited each one twice a day. They were very well cared for. She was great from the start. She understood that our cats were really important to us. She made us feel confident that she was listening and would provide good care which she did. The cats were healthy and happy when we returned. I give her a five out of five star rating!

Schedule
I am a college student, but all of my classes end in the early afternoon, and I have plenty of time in the morning to fit in pet care. I will not say yes to taking care of your pet if I don’t think I can give your pet the amount of time and care they deserve.
