As a lifelong animal lover and future veterinarian, I bring 3.5 years of hands-on veterinary medicine experience as a Veterinary Assistant and a genuine passion for caring for dogs. I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary focus as I work toward my goal of becoming a veterinarian. Growing up on a family dairy farm, I was surrounded by animals from an early age and helped care for many farm dogs. This experience taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of understanding each animal’s individual personality, needs, and routine. During my veterinary career, I’ve cared for and hospitalized numerous dogs, providing attentive monitoring, feeding, cleaning, exercise, enrichment, and comfort. I’m experienced with safely handling dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and needs, as well as administering oral medications when necessary. Working in a veterinary setting has also helped me become attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall well-being. As a flexible and reliable college student, I’m happy to work around your schedule and follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. Whether your pup is energetic and playful, shy and nervous, or loves nothing more than cuddling on the couch, I’ll provide patient, compassionate, and individualized care.
