I understand that leaving your pets in someone else’s care can feel stressful, but you can rest assured they will be safe, loved, and well cared for with me. For drop-in visits and walks, I will attend without my own dog present. However, for boarding or daycare services, my service dog, Copper, will be with me. I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment, and pets staying with me will have plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. They are also welcome on the furniture and will be treated like part of the family.

I’m very comfortable with dogs and the wide spectrum of personalities and behaviors they can have — I just appreciate knowing ahead of time about any important quirks, triggers, fears, routines, or special needs so I can provide the best care possible. Whether your pet is shy, energetic, reactive, anxious, medication-dependent, or just has a favorite bedtime routine, the more I know, the better I can help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away!
A typical day
I’m always happy to tailor activities to whatever your pet enjoys most, so I’d love to hear any favorite games, routines, or activity recommendations you have! Personally, I love being outdoors and spend lots of time outside with my own dog, so we’ll likely enjoy plenty of walks, playtime, sniffing adventures, and fresh air together. I also love keeping pets mentally stimulated with toys, enrichment activities, cuddles, and lots of one-on-one attention

I believe what sets me apart is my combination of professional caregiving experience, extensive dog handling experience, and genuine love for animals. I currently have my own service dog and went through 2+ years of weekly training with her, along with 6+ months of obedience training with two other dogs. Through that experience, I’ve become very comfortable working with dogs of different temperaments, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I’m also a registered nurse currently taking a break from nursing to recharge, so providing attentive, compassionate care comes very naturally to me. I’m detail-oriented, patient, calm under pressure, and highly attentive to safety and routines — qualities that are especially helpful with puppies, senior dogs, anxious pets, or dogs with medical needs. Most importantly, I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel loved, comfortable, and secure while their owners are away.
