We've owned family dogs my whole life. Currently, we have a 12-year-old Shih-tzu, Kallie, and a 7-year-old Akita mix, Jasper. I have been heavily involved with the care and training of both dogs, while our Akita mix required more attention. Jasper, who is now a loving and friendly pup, was extremely reactive and a flight risk. Through copious amounts of positive reinforcement training, I am thrilled to say he is a confident and pleasant dog, who has become an amazing companion in all activities. Jasper has also had some complex health issues, which has familiarized me with various means of medical-related care, and feeding methods (he keeps us on our toes!). Additionally, I have dog sat for numerous people in my home community, most often a pair of rambunctious Siberian husky mixes—a crazy duo that stole my heart.

I have experience working with both large and small breed dogs, with varying personalities. I am happy to work with dogs that need some time to warm up, and those that are high-energy. I am happy to answer any questions at any time to make you feel comfortable!

She was punctual and mindful of my dog’s needs. Dog was happy upon return and without any stomach issues which tells me she was being properly monitored throughout the walk. Will be rebooking for sure! Thanks for the cute fall pictures too!

As a life long pet owner and major worrier I was a bit hesitant to leave my babies with anyone. However while I was at work I needed someone to spend time with them. My Pomeranian is a rescue, he was mistreated and neglected and very wary of strangers. My chihuahua is very protective of my Pomeranian as well. After two visits with Cassidy, both babies were literally eating out of her hand! She is kind, gentle and patient. She won over my babies hearts as well as my own. It’s such a pleasure to receive pictures of their adventures and to feel super comfortable trusting someone else to provide for my babies. Seeing them so excited to see her and hear her voice is more than e enough for me. I highly recommend Cassidy, especially if you have a nervous doggy, she is committed to winning them over and helping them live their best life.
Cassidy is a phenomenal pet parent and caretaker. She treats all animals with the same care and love that she provides to her own cats Ivy and Otis and her dog Jasper. She is comfortable dealing with pets with complex needs and abilities. I highly recommend her if you want someone that treats your fur babies as if they were her own.
Cassidy has been a quality and reliable pet-sitter in the years that I have known her. Cassidy has provided pet-sitting or walking services for my dogs on a number of occasions, and we have been more than happy with her services. She has also contributed to the post-surgery care (e.g., administering medications, adjusting e-collar/cone) for one of our senior cats, which was a significant help during this time. I would definitely recommend her services!

Schedule
I have recently relocated to Vancouver for my studies, with my three cats. Since moving, I miss our family dogs immensely, as they were an instrumental part of my day-to-day. I was involved with the daily care of both our dogs, including grooming, training, and walks/hikes.
