LOVE AND CARE - DOG TRAINER

** CERTIFIED DOG TRAINER** *SENIOR DOG CARE *PUPPY TRAINING EXPERIENCE *DISNEY AREA I’ve been around animals forever and got into pet sitting a few years ago. Got hooked by the love and reward feeling I receive from the animals and the amazing families I am having the opportunity to meet and work with. I am a part-time business consultant and former college educator, which would be a very stressful job. A few years ago, I chose to start working with animals as a rewarding experience, and I have nothing but joy and memorable experiences from that. I am a certified dog trainer who works with the Positive Reinforcement method, believing every pet is unique and deserves a chance to improve its behavior and achieve a better and safer life through it. Getting certified is a step forward in my commitment to animal care and its behavior. I am experienced in making sure your beloved companion gets its medicine and in recognizing signs and behavior changes the pet may show when they are not feeling well, as well as taking care of senior animals. Senior animals need a calm and safe environment, and I love making it happen for them. Nowadays, I own two rescue dogs. The oldest one was so afraid of everything! She was a broken dog when she arrived at our home, but now she is playful and able to go for a walk without barking and keeping her reactions under control. Pet sitting for me is a joyful moment of my day, and I look forward to it. I keep my communication clear and detailed, and I am able to offer multilingual support as I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. BOARDING FOR PUPPIES ONLY. Knowing how stressful leaving your puppy may be, and how hard it is to find a place where your pup may stay safely, I am offering boarding for one client at a time only, exclusively for puppies under 1-year old. #WINDERMERE #WINTERGARDEN #HORIZONWEST #LAKEBUENAVISTA #DISNEYHOTELS #FORTWILDERNESS #DISNEYPETSITTING

Cassia is the absolute BEST! I trust her completely with the care and training of my pup. She’s accommodating and able to work with my schedule - I had a last minute ask to add a walk and she connected with me right away.

Safety, trust & environment

Having a pup around is a must for my family and me. I would love to come to feed, play, or take your furry friend for a walk or some play time. A meet and greet for cats and dogs is a must for me, because I want to offer you and your pet the chance to get to know me, and for you to feel comfortable having me sitting or walking your pet. Having the information to get to know your pet will point me in the right direction on how to perform my tasks in a manner you like. If I’m walking our dog, I’ll need to get information regarding the behavior on the leash. Is your dog pet and kid-friendly or reactive? This line of information will help me create a plan based on the animal's needs and behavior. Some dogs love long walking while others don’t. Some dogs have some triggers or like to carry a toy on their walking, and so on. While when I’m dropping in at your house, information such: food and water intake, vitamins intake or medicine, favorite toys or playtime favorites; Is your pet a escape artist? Every piece of information helps me to help you on achieving our goal to keep your pet happy, well fed, healthy, safe, and feeling someone trusted will be there while you’re not there. I like to say that I offer a Concierge for Pets and pet parents. I will design the drop-in or walking based on what your pet and you need.

Pets

A typical day

Every animal is unique, and as such, I’ll play its favorite games or just sit and pet your pup for a while if that’s what your pet prefers. But usually I like to play fetch, squeaky toys, small training sections, running in the fenced backyard, or playing with a laser for cats. I like leaving pieces is treats in places where your pet can safely play around and have a good time while being supervised. My drop-ins are very interactive and I will do my best to make your pet have a great time with me, offering love, care, and joyful time.

I believe keeping communication between me and the pet parents are the best way to provide the best care for your beloved pet. Keeping it in mind, I’m open to listening to you regarding food intake or special diet needed, any health concerns or odd behavior to look for, when taking care of your pet, as well as how and where I’m supposed to go around your property. Some pets may be reactive to others and may act differently with strangers, and that brings up the topic of how important the Meet and Greet is and why I request it for first-time clients. This is an important step to get to know your pet and for us to know each other and stabling baselines for communication and interaction.
